This comment I find so strange. Do we expect Catherine, when accompanying her husband at the Bafta's, which is his patronage, not hers, to just turn up in a low key manner, slipping quietly in her seat? No, we fully expect her to accompany her husband as a wife and supporter should. Beside him, appropriately dressed. So, why can't Megan be allowed to do the same. Because we don't like her and don't want to see her face? Well that is our problem, not hers. No matter how little I think of her, it is her right to walk beside her husband.

You may be taking the quote I used a little too literally and as we say here in the UK "got the wrong end of the stick" or have missed the point I was trying to make. I wasn't suggesting MM should be superglued to her seat and not allowed to move or walk next to PH; that would be ridiculous. Nor am I implying she should wear a paper bag over her head if she does walk beside PH or wherever she goes - again, ridiculous.

I borrowed the quote you read from a previous post I made where it was an example of how MM could have conducted herself differently and drawn less attention to herself during the games. Where you saw it, I was using it in a reply to demonstrate that I had no problem with her being there. I thought that was obvious TBH, but maybe not. Perhaps if you read the entire post it originally came from, it would make more sense and not seem so "strange".

In any case, the Invictus Games are now over and for me, it's time to move on.

Harry’s father, stepmother, brother and sister in law know nothing about Harry and his family’s life either. They know nothing about Archie’s preschool activities, Lili growing into toddlerhood. Do they make efforts to keep in touch? It works both ways.

And actually Eugenie and Jack visited the Sussexes in California. Plus there was a report that Beatrice and Eugenie accompanied Harry when he visited the Chapel at St George’s on his last visit, and laid flowers on the Queen’s tomb. So he is in touch with the two cousins.

Of course, that is not something that we, the public, could discuss with such confidence, seeing as the BRF don't make it a practice to publish their private family dealings. I do recall some newspaper accounts of a gift (a treehouse/playhouse?) that KC sent to Harry's children, but apart from that, they don't discuss it. Rightly so, in my opinion.

They are trying SO hard to be relevant and important, hence the ridiculous "Convoy" for our uber Eco Warrior's. Kind of laughable.

I have read that *allegedly* The Sussex's feel that their noble endeavors, I mean Business Goals, got sidetracked or derailed in past due to bad luck or timing.
Specifically, Covid. Which upended many plans for so many. Understandable, for them to feel that, in my opinion anyway.

But Man, the timing this week of their Visit could NOT have been worse for Them. There just hasn't been ANY notice of The Sussex's in NYC. Due to the unimaginable horror unfolding in Israel. Everything got turned upside down. Everything for many thwarted. New priorities, totally logical. All attention is focused elsewhere.

Had their visit happened a mere week ago, there would have been publicly and interest. Lots. Unfortunately, didn't pan out that way.

I would bet there was a lot of effort and work put into this too. A relaunch of sorts, The Archewell Foundation Parents Summit, focusing on Mental Wellness in a Digital Age.

I will say one thing about the Convoy of 7 SUV's to herald their triumphant return to NYC.

Yes, it was unnecessarily over the top, "look at Us, We are VIP's". A taste in their minds of past ''fanfare" accorded to them on Royal Tours.

But I wonder, if view of the events of the past week, didn't spook Harry in some way ? Hence the added Security. Maybe that wasn't the original plan for Security.

Regarding his ridiculous inclusion of dismissive boasting in Spare of killing Taliban fighters. " Chess pieces taken off the Board", that He was neither "satisfied or embarrassed by that fact".

I remember lots of criticism by Military Groups of the wording used and bringing up The Taliban kills in his book. Foolish and dangerous.

I bet if he had a "do over" again, he would.
I was thinking of ALL the Security Protocols for Royals, Celebrities, Media, and Govt Officials will have to be reviewed and updated. Till things settle down.
