I like her outfit, even the hat! I think she does casual chic very well. Flattering, coordinated (but not matchy-matchy) outfit, light makeup, jewellery, all appropriate to the occassion, but not like she's trying too hard.

It's a look I have a lot of trouble with myself (I'm either in shorts and a t-shirt or dressed for a cocktail party!), so I really appreciate it in others. It's a sense of style that reminds a little of Charlotte Casiraghi's - it looks like she threw the outfit together, and yet it looks way too good have had no thought put into it.

I think the cowboy hats are getting popular in England. It seems that alot of english people are wearing them. I don't like how Kate follows the fashion trends. I wish she would show individuality.

remarkable how poised she stays with a picture made of her every move, also in comparison to diana, a generation ago, who started to cry at a certain event while she was engaged to charles. Perhaps the camera's are less close to the person photographed than then and give you a sense of privacy.

I've met Chelsy a few times but I can't say that I'm friends with her or that I know her enough to judge her. She seems very nice though. Dating William is like dating anyone else....the fact that hes a prince does not really change the fact that I like him for who he is, which is a person, and not just because hes a prince. The only difference is that I have a lot more people wanting to talk to me and take my picture now.

I did a search of "Kate Middleton" too and what I found was someone saying her name was Catherine Elizabether Middleton" ....did I just read somewhere in this thread that her middleton name is Shane? You'll probably find 100 of these "Kate Middleton" people on the internet, all claiming to be THE ONE.

I quite personally think that the British Royal Family would never regain the fame and approval they had when Diana was alive.The reason why they are so much in love with Kate is because they think that what they have lost(in terms of politics) will be regained.I personally don't like Kate,but I hope the best for them both.Thanks for posting the link Sara981.

Hoping to get fame and approval of the press is the wrong way to go about picking a wife for William. They need someone who will earn the respect and admiration of the public over time, not insta-popularity.

What is it you really dislike about Kate? To be honest, she rubs me the wrong way for some reason.
