The Prince and Princess of Wales have made a donation to help replenish stock at a south London food bank which had thousands of pounds worth of goods stolen.

(Sorry, I copied that from the BBC website, where it was in bold type, and I can't work out how to un-bold it!)
 
According to the article the food lost approximately 3,000.00 pounds worth of food and hygiene products.
Kensington Palace said Prince William and Catherine had heard about the burglary and wanted to offer their support.

The food bank said the couple had pledged £3,500.

  1. Highlight ad copy the text you selected
  2. place the mouse on the chat box, right click and select the line copied to be placed as 'Place as plain text' and that removes the tricky original bold setting from being carried over.
Re article, that was such a nice gesture of the Wales. Hope the food bank had cameras to prevent the crime to be repeated.
 
William met up with some of the Olympic swimming team for an event, he also explained to them that he did not attend the Olympics due to his fear of contacting Covid and possibly infecting Catherine while she was going through her treatment.
 
Didn't Prince William attend the Euro Cup in Germany? Maybe that was after she finished chemo and before Wimbledon. I was always surprised he wasn't wearing a mask when he was out meeting the public while she was undergoing treatment because of the uptick in covid cases.
 
Now I remember. Charlotte went to the Wimbledon final and George Went with his dad.

Sanctions for Russian misinformation linked to Kate rumours

A Russian network sanctioned by the UK for misinformation was linked to false rumours about the Princess of Wales.

Six Russian agencies and individuals accused of being part of a disinformation network face sanctions from the UK government.
The so-called Doppelganger group had been linked earlier this year to spreading false rumours about the Princess of Wales.
The Foreign Office warned of a "vast malign online network" intended to cause disruption and confusion, distributing fake news and undermining democracy.
The Doppelganger group are accused of trying to incite division within countries supporting Ukraine in the war against Russia.

In March this year the group had been claimed as amplifying a wave of rumours and fake claims about Catherine, when she was out of public view with health problems.

The conspiracy stories about the Princess were planted on social media and propagated using BOT farms with a view to discrediting the Prince of Wales, the next inline to be monarch. All of these things are designed to destabilise the social fabric of the UK.
 
Thanks I never thought of it as destabilizing the social fabric of the UK but it makes sense.

They wanted to underscore that the monarchy and the British government would be negatively affected by the health issues for King Charles III and the Princess of Wales.
