I thank the necklace is overpriced. I suspect better value can be found in Europe when it comes to looking for old collet colliers. There are plenty around with jewellers.
The Belgian RF is very odd because Leopold's parents gave Princess Astrid a rivière necklace as a wedding present and it's obvious that it did not go to Baudouin.

That is a great option.

In fact, I think that tiara would look wonderful with her chandelier earrings she acquired at auction a few years ago. If she could at some point add a necklace and/or bracelet or brooch it would make a lovely diamond set.

I really hope one of the royal families snaps up that tiara.
It would be a great option for CP Mary or CP Mette-Marit since both seem to prefer lighter more delicate tiara's. It's also the perfect size for any of the young princesses who will need tiara's in the coming years

I also think Mary, Mathilde and Mette-Marit could each do with the sort of substantial diamond bracelet being auctioned. Common on, ladies, go get it.

Although the tiara is lovely, I think it is too small for any of the ladies that are mentioned. They are all around 50 y/o and they can do with something more substantial. Since both the Danish as the Belgian royal families tend to give individual pieces to their (many) children, the tiara is a perfect one for the (younger) daughters or future daughter-in-laws of the Belgian and Danish families though.

That is correct, these would be great tiaras for Mary, Mathilde and Mette- Marit to acquire for use by their children. None of these ladies have particularly deep vaults to fall back on, and will need to add a few tiaras for use by their younger children or their spouses.

Since we now know that the Belgians have finally seen the light and are buying at auctions to replenish the empty jewel vaults I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Queen Mathilde wearing the brooch or bracelet.

The tiara would be a wonderful starter starter tiara for Princess Elenore!

That's a really beautiful Victorian pearl and diamond tiara and would make a very lovely wedding tiara.

Would be a good addition to the belgian or danish collections as a tiara for the younger Princesses
