Would be a good addition to the belgian or danish collections as a tiara for the younger Princesses

Or a good starter Tiara for Leonor Princess of Asturias /Infanta Sofia :previous:

Yes but they have already several smaller tiaras with the prussian, mellerio floral and mellerio shell tiaras.

The Prussian and Shell Tiaras belong to Queen Sofia but I'm sure we will see them on Leonor and Sofia :previous:

Which Princess/Queen would like A Late Victorian Pearl and Diamond Tiara?
http://www.bentley-skinner.co.uk/tiaras/54164-a-late-victorian-pearl-and-diamond-tiara

from that lineup I like this one for Leonor, the coral and gold tiara
https://www.bentley-skinner.co.uk/t...ogical-revival-coral-and-gold-spartan-diadem/

per description

...this diadem, purchased in England during the early part of the 20th century, was once owned by Empress Eugénie of France.
...After France’s defeat in the Franco-Prussian war, the Empress took refuge in England, where she lived for the rest of her life. She escaped with her personal jewels and sold them off by degrees in order to fund her life in exile; their sale made more necessary after the deaths of both her husband and only son. In 1872 she put 123 jewels up for auction at Christie’s; she also sold pieces privately to dealers, collectors and friends and these transactions were largely undocumented. Therefore, although it cannot be proved conclusively that this diadem belonged to the Empress, it probably did.

For Leonor, would be a Russian style tiara, which was a wedding gift from Felipe to Letizia, and she never wore

Not crazy about this one but with a veil it would make a nice wedding tiara?

It seems that they have removed some stones from the several open circles. Only the middle one still has a diamond. So for me the tiara looks unfinished. But a good opportunity to create a set of different stones that can be added.

That is indeed the most 'special' tiara of the whole lot. Not easy to wear perhaps but a beautiful piece. If the connection to Empress Eugenie had been more clear I can imagine a museum would be interested.

That is a lovely brooch, but I do not see a royal buying it.

Its the second time it was put up for sale, given the price tag and the fact it sold for $1,314,500 in 2011 I would assume the same.

why? What is wrong with Elizabeth Taylor?

Small diamond tiara with a tulip motif, to bad the Dutch Royal family dont' really need more tiaras. Still a nice size for any of the young princesses that will need a tiara in the next couple of years

Also I would love it if the Belgian Royal Family added an amethyst riviere to their collection, it would look great with the purple sash that comes with their highest order

So this sale is full of pieces that would help fill out the small jewelry collections of certain royal families.

This pearl brooch would be a nice a piece to go with Princess Ingrid Alexandra's pearl tiara https://www.bonhams.com/auction/28372/lot/217/natural-pearl-and-diamond-brooch-circa-1930/

Would love the Norwegian royal family adding a sapphire brooch like this to wear with their red with small blue strip sashes

There are some really nice pieces there, again I can see really see Mathide wearing the floral ones!

There are some really beautiful pieces for sale at Christie’s Magnificent Jewels sale in Geneva tomorrow
https://royalwatcherblog.com/2023/05/16/christies-magnificent-jewels-17-may-2023/#more-122169

The necklace / tiara is lovey, and would make a great addition to the jewellery boxes of Mary, Mathilde or Mette-Marit. However, the suggested price for this, and a lot of the other jewellery on the Christie's website far exceeds anything that I think a royal family would pay today.

Yes I observed the price tags and thought the same.

Well I think the Diamond rivière for 60-80K is not that bad. I think Mathilde should consider it.

The Chaumet Sapphire and Diamond Tiara is really lovely and I could see this on Queen Letizia.

The Sapphire set would look incredible on Crown Princess Mary!
