Letizia looks elegant and i love her hair, the prince is making his speech now.

I watched it on tv. It was great :flowers: It's just finished, and everybody has gone home. It was a very nice ceremony. Felipe had a very nice speech. Letizia looked absolutely radiant and happy to be there. So was the Queen, who could not stop smiling all the time. IT was great, can't wait to see al the pictures :)

Well, CP letizia is looking very good, isnt that a great outfit? its good to see her in a printed skirt. I liked the Pink outfit. Thank you everyone for the pictures, they were great.
 
Tahnks for the videos. Dd you notice in the second video, when the prince and princess arrived close to their chairs, the prince wanted to sit down, but the princess reminded him that first they had to stay standing up till the national anthem is played by the musiscians. It is so sweet. She remembers her job better than he does!
 
purple_platinum, the picture you posted is so sweet. It seems that CP letizia is close to her in-laws, shich is a good thing. Their outfits match as in color wise, but different shades. They all look happy, its good to see a family outing:)
 
I watched the ceremony too and I liked it very much, Felipe was really charming and Letizia looked lovely and femminine in her pink outfit, one of her best. I also liked the interaction between the Princes and the Queen, they smile, touch and speak together like a very loving family. And Menchu looked very proud too, it must be special for her to see her granddaugher as one of the major protagonists in this event!:)
 
Grandma Menchu was there in the audience and as far as I've seen, one of Letizia's sisters, probably Erica.

Letizia looked wonderful and her dress, which is such a lovely, dusky rose pink color, complements her skin tone. I would love to see it without the coat.

The PoA Awards - what a festival of culture and a celebration of scientific and social possibilities! It's a great event and I was glad that I was able to read Felipe's speech in English plus the el pais article -they provide a glimpse into how he sees the world and what he hopes for it. (Somehow I think it is probably safe to say that Letizia probably shares the same vision?)

Thanks to all who have posted articles and photos that have provided a better sense of the significance of the awards.

They are in the Hotel of The Reconquista. After the act in the Campoamor there is a great receipt and a cocktail in the Hotel. There are never images of this act, are more private, as the rest of luncheons.
But the televisions establish themselves in the hotel and some of the winning ones grant interviews.;)

Little pity that Letizia doesn't stay. One day is too little as for me:bang:

But as I saw before she looks wonderful today in this lovely pink dress and lilac/light pink coat.:wub:
