It's a very elegant dress, but it's overshadowed by the woman wearing hanbok right next to her!

I am grateful that Queen Consort Camilla is not a Christmas tree and dresses in a simpler way than the last queen.

A new era with a new Consort Queen. I have noticed subtle changes in clothing attire mostly on the ladies, such as loess hats, less brooches, colors of clothing to make a few. For decades everyone followed Queen Elizabeth’s rules/directives/suggestions and now it appears the ladies are free to make their own choices and not have to follow QE. We are so use to QE ways, this is now the new different norm. Some like change some do not. So far none of the ladies have stumbled just changed their ways a bit. I am okay with it.
I have to admit I am sorry we don't see her wearing hats very often, but I don't think there have been very many opportunities for her lately. That being said, Camilla seems to be subtly switching up her wardrobe incrementally, no instantaneous walking through one door and coming out another with a dramatically different style. However, I am impressed by what I have seen so far:

1. Her coats and dresses are just a little bit longer, but the effect very notably elevates the style of her ensemble.

2. While she is still wearing her signature winter staple, suede boots, she is now wearing more elegant styles with higher heels which always elevates an ensemble and Camilla's is no exception as seen above.

3. Sneakily, her dress style has changed more in the line of wearing more neatly tailored and with a longer dress length while remaining largely unchanged. However, while they still zip up the front, the bodices seem to be more detailed along pintucks and frogging on sleeves.

4. She is experiencing with different coat styles and this particular style of coat very flattering with the slim, straight style and higher heels on her boots,

All good points, but a few more brooches wouldn't go amiss.

Queen Camilla at the reception to celebrate the British East and South-East Asian communities later today, wearing a beautiful kaftan dress again:

Its a beautiful dress but I don't think the accompanying jewels worked with it and perhaps a brooch or pearls might have added a bit of contrast?

Camilla hosted a reception for the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada at Buckingham Palace today, February 1:

Several of us have noted that the slightly longer length she has adopted in her recent appearances has made a tremendous difference. In this case, the dress is the length she has, until recently, usually worn and I do think it would be more flattering and if it were slightly longer.

It really is amazing that increasing the length of the dress by as little as one or two inches can change the entire look and style of a dress,

The cut of Camilla’s dresses is very similar to that of Queen Elizabeth’s. Camilla look nice in this outfit.

:previous: She looks really comfortable and approachable which is really what it is all about. Her suede boots have become her go to footwear in winter and spring. But, she is not the only woman in attendance wearing boots, there are suede and plain leather with and without stiletto heels.

The Queen certainly appears to have an approachable demeanour, but I don't think it is her boots that make her approachable.

Agreed, but she is the only woman who is at "home"! :flowers:

Love the radiant colour. And the Queen is just the same. [emoji846]

I like the way the trim on the coat is the same material as her hat.

Nicer and less fussy-looking than the blue.

Is that called brocade? I'm sure in person it looks better but it stands out a lot. The white makes the dress look with no definition, maybe the room light. I like Duchess Sophie's more, she's trailing behind William and her dress reminds me of vintage late 1950s Grace Kelly style

She looks good on this shade of blue, powder blue? with matching accessories, too.

The blue is amazing. And I am loving her gloves she has been sporting since she's been Queen.

Wow! So interesting that Camilla is clearly mirroring her late Majesty here with a Launer handbag and the sapphire Prince Albert brooch!

That's the Russian Sapphire Cluster Brooch, only worn by QE2 a handful of times.
