I wonder if there is an estimate of the number of bunches of flowers left by the public. I have been watching videos about the flowers at Green Park and it seems there's a huge amount.

A bit of footage of last night incident. It's very confused, but I think this is all we have. It cannot be seen in the official live streaming video: they showed the outside of Westminster Palace for a few minutes, but that happened before the incident, meaning that the live isn't really live...

I think that each head of state should travel in separate cars. The bus is simply ridiculous in such a solemn occasion (it's not a wedding), and it may lead to diplomatic issues. I understand that the Italian president, among others, may be exempted from the bus. Why exactly? I'm pretty sure...

Yes, there was some shouting during the cortege, which I couldn't understand, but it didn't sound very friendly. However, at the end of that confused moment, there were also some people shouting "god save the king". I guess that was an answer to the protesters (if they were protesters).

I had no idea. I took for granted that sovereings' funerals were at Westminster. Well, Westminster may be a break with recent tradition, but it ties up with older tradition. ?

I am grateful to the internet because I can watch everything. Living in Italy I would be able to watch on television only the main events and some highlights. Instead I can watch the BBC coverage on their site and switch to one of the countless live streaming on Youtube when they start chatting...
