i my self like the dinner better becouse its like a teater they always have something new a theme one year it was about historic persons in sweden and they had actors performing a other year they had people climbing the brick walls with butiful music and light performance
That sounds neat. I wonder what the theme will be about this year.

on TV they said a lot of coulors they may have ment the food

" a pearl embroidered light green tulle dress"

I hope it´s nothing like the pantsuit that Princess Claire wore a while back.:)

They just said Madeleine is ill and wont be at Nobel this year. What a shame! I was looking forward to see her dress :(

Yes me too, as she tends to be the one to ruffle some feathers with her choice of attire! I like the colors of CP Victoria's dress, and Princess Lillians! Bright, vibrant.

It seems illness is abound on this day as CP Mette Marit missed in Norway due to illness.

Lovely dresses from the three females and Carl Philip has cut his hair!

I love Victorias dress! and carl philip is handsome as always :)

Yes, don´t look too directly into Lilian´s dress. The dress that Silvia is wearing reminds me of the one that she wore in the US in 2001, I think it was. Same type if I remember correctly.

Lilian´s dress does not look new. Silvia´s does look recycled though.

I was going to mention that I thought the tiara looked newer, that I hadn't seen Victoria wear it before (but then I don't follow the Swedes quite as closely as I follow others), but I hadn't really seen it up close enough to decide. It's pretty...better then the circles one anyway!

Victoria looked sick. I hope she´s okay. I hate to think that she is not feeling well.

What I´ve seen of Victoria´s dress so far it looks IMO like an american prom dress!

I agree Lena-it's a very pretty dress, but it does look very much like what any American teenage girl would wear to prom. Maybe there is more to it that we just aren't seeing at the moment.

I agree about the prom dress-look. And I really don't like wearing the hair down with a tiara. It's too informal IMO. But at least it's not a ponytail, right? :) I do think Victoria looks nice though. The dress is different for her which is nice. I wish we could see a picture of what Madeleine was going to wear! And Carl-Philip looks great with shorter hair

i do not think victorias dress is to bad

silvias dress is a bit boring

I wasn't saying Victoria looked bad, as I think she looks wonderful, I was just stating that I think the dress itself, from what we can see of it, looks very much like a dress any American teenage girl could get and wear.

Silivia's dress is rather boring.

I had to turn off the live video. The speeches were too much for me this early in the morning! ;) I'll have to come back later to look at the pics.

I agree with Britters exactly. I think Victoria looks lovely. I was just hoping to see her in something more "grown up"

Yes, well, it´s all science to me. I´m putting into my head the idea that this guy sounds like the Swedish chef. It´s better.

I can't wait until we can see a back view of the women's hair. Silivia's looks absolutetly stunning from the front and top views!

when does the dinner start that is more fun to see what they will do this year

I liked the Queen's and Princess Lilian's dresses. The Queen also wore one of my favourite jewelry sets (the gorgeous Leuchteberg sapphires), which I'm happy about! I'm not too found of Crown Princess Victoria's dress - it doesn't fall very well on her, and that neckline is bad. Queen Silvia is always very stylish and wears the most magnificent things - the only thing I can really say about her is that I'd like her to wear more "grand" dresses again - the past few years her dresses have been more "suttle"...

I think Queen Sylvia looks wonderful! I absolutely love her hair. She always has the best hairstyles for these kinds of events. From the pictures I've seen, her dress seems to be a little more form-fitting which is nice to see. She is quite a beautiful queen.
