Yeah, but Harry is still a Prince! And Prince is, since the UK is still a monarchy and with the long history of princely admirals and army leaders, not de jure but de facto in reality a rank.
Plus: Were at his visit in Hawaii to commemorate the dead of the attack at Pearl Harbour on the anniversary... were there other high standing personalities there? I do not know if President Biden was there, VP Harris or somebody. Prince Harry might have been the highest ranking person there... and he was honored as an 'honorer'.
