From the silouette I thought it was the GDss of Luxembourg. It is very matronly on Elisabeth. She is still experimenting with her royal style of course. It was her first big wedding (as an adult) after all.

Has Princess Elisabeth worn a Fabiene Delvigne Laurany hat before?

Can't say anything about her outfit as long as she hasn't removed that fringy blanket.... :whistling:

But I guess, that also says it all... NOT a fan, no matter who designed it. It makes her look 40. or 50.

I don't like anything about this look from the Duchess of Brabant. The red is too loud and washes her out. The style and cut are....strange.

Very rare "MISS" by Elisabeth. Something tells me it's Natan.

It is very much 'Mathilde' to me... And I don't think that's a good sign (although this dress on her works better than Mathilde's one colour dress last week). So, I agree that it is a miss. A bold choice but I thought she looked much lovelier at her uncle's wedding last week. There is no need for this cry for attention.

I agree. This look makes Elisabeth look matronly and what Tirilschatz says is indeed what I first thought on seeing her dress. A fringy blanket....
A miss for The Duchess of Brabant.

:previous: I think she is at the age where she is beginning to realize that she is a pretty young lady with a great figure. Fashion is quite fun under those circumstances and can make a girl giddy.

But Elisabeth stood out from her tastefully dressed family and not in a good way..Her outfit almost looked camp. I didn't even know Carolina Herrera could design something like that. :ermm:

It was a rare belly flop for Elisabeth but as others have pointed out, she is young and still finding her way.

I hate to pile on, especially as I usually can appreciate an edgy choice, but this was a miss for me- not flattering, which is hard to believe as the Duchess looks good in most things. Not a good wedding outfit either- very loud. Actually, I've disliked quite a few CH dresses recently on other women as well.

Lisa looks gorgeous!!! What a nice figure she has! The dress is okay, simple but different at the same time. But I just wished the make-up was a little softer.

It's so weird to say this given the circumstances-but she has never looked better.

Wow!!

Whoa....what a way to redeem herself from the disappointment of her cousin's wedding this weekend. Elisabeth looks flawless and has a perfect figure.

Just wow.

That red get up was a real disaster! She looks like the crazy aunt in the picture with her family. CH must have been ill the day she designed this dress. PEliz seems petite and should stay away from blanket-like looks, and fringes!
The black dress on the other hand showed off her lovely figure. I liked her hair and earrings also. However, the shoes are not for her. She should stick with a much lower heel and some kind of style would be nice.

Eek. No. Just...no. Bright reds are not a good color on her. A darker, more crimson or brick red would be better, but the bigger problem is the dress design itself. It looks like a blanket with a hole cut in the middle for her head to poke through. Ugly, ugly, ugly. She normally looks very put together, but this was a big misstep.

I just saw a closeup on IG. Her makeup looks better than it has ever looked...better than her own birthday celebrations, better than her tiara appearance at Ingrid of Norway's birthday gala.

Just flawless imo.

Agreed. It IS weird to say, but she looks amazing. And she has a lovely figure.

That black dress is so elegant and the fabric makes it stand out.

I think she just goes a bit more adventurous when it's a private family occasion but sticks to the elegant stylish style when she is doing her duties. Which is good and fun to see:D.

Oh, she got a haircut! Very serious-looking.

Wow...the DoB looks very elegant and grown up with her new hair cut.

She is beautiful.?

I first thought it was the secretary, but on second look it was the princess. The haircut looks nice. The outfit is suitable for the event. A bit understated but then next to her mother's outfit anything would look that way.

I agree. That is pretty awful.

Love the new hair. :flowers:

Great classic look today. Appropriate look for a college age princess for day.
