I love the outfit the princess wore, but it was such a contrast to what her mother wore. I feel like they should have coordinated styles or something. It was a jarring difference.

That outfit is a new low for the normally restrained and elegant queen.

I don't blame Elisabeth for wanting to distance herself from that getup her mom is wearing.:sad:

Oh I agree. Elisabeth looked lovely. Mathilde’s look was over the top in every way.
 
She looks absolutely STUNNING!
 
She looks stunning. The Duchess of Brabant has grown into a lovely young woman.
 
This young woman would look good in just about anything. It's interesting that she borrows things from her mother! Perhaps they just like the same kind of clothing?
 
She's inheriting her mother's clothes
 
I'm not sure that top is Mathilde's, at least I don't remember seeing her wear it.

It looks perfect on Elisabeth!

Can see white behind mom's legs.

Think likely pant suit. A floor length gown seems too formal. That or she has boots with dress.
 
Same outfit as her birthday portrait?

Elisabeth's outfit looks beautiful.
 
Her hair grew back very quickly after last summer's very pretty bob cut. It's now longer than ever.;)
 
:previous: I thought the photos (both her birthday one and the Christmas one) were taken before she cut her hair? If it's after, her hair grew so quick :eek:. There will be a Christmas concert right? I hope she will keep her bob cut as it's really lovely and suits her well.
 
I agree. She looked amazing with her hair cut like that!
 
O M actual G, Elisabeth is becoming an icon, I love her style. She wore Diane von Furstenberg (as did Eléonore).
 
I love her style! This dress is a winner!
She managed to wear a thigh high split without looking like a tart!
