A nice, elegant look for Mary at the Danish Free Research Fund's conference in Copenhagen today, September 26:
I always wonder what the bottom of their pants look like at the end of the dayNow that’s a perfect fitted trouser. Such a change from those dreadful floor skimming, wide leg that is increasingly seen on royal ladies.
I agree. Queen Mary manages to always hit the right note and understands the assignment in regards to the event she's attending. She manages to look classic and chic while adding pops of modernity. It never looks dated and like a costume or cosplay. Plus she always exudes self-assurance and self-confidence which adds to the success of the outfit. The thing that's fun about Mary's fashion thread is that day or evening she is never a fashion victim and gets it right like 99 per cent of the time.
I honestly cannot think of another Royal female I can say that about!
I don't like it either, but then, I'm not a fan of grey. I think it's a difficult color.Grey outfit reminds me a janitorial service uniform
The outfit is really lovely and very elegant but not sure if the hat works?Queen Mary lovely and elegant in light blue at the Opening of Parliament today, October 1.
The coat dress is by Claes Iversen and Mary has worn it at the Opening of Parliament before.

The coat dress is fine, but I do not like that style of hat on Mary. Looks like it may have been from QE2's wardrobe.Queen Mary lovely and elegant in light blue at the Opening of Parliament today, October 1.
