Doha, December 26 (QNA) -HH The Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani received at Al-Wajba Palace Sunday morning HE Dr. Ali Saeed Lu, Deputy President and Head of the Physical Education Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to Qatar. During the meeting, HH The Emir and Dr. Lu reviewed ties and cooperation between the two countries and issues of common concern.(QNA)

I hope to see pics if the meeting took place actually I am not sur how the king will manage to receive all these head of states who are in Marrakech now for holidays.
anyway Marrakech looks wonderful these days...the city is crowded and I love all those ppl from all around the world make marrakech looks special.
I hope a nice stay for the Emir and his wife in our city.

No . she is not shaikha Jawaher . she is shaikha Alamayassah . this picture that i posted is exactly in Raya newspaper of Qatar (with Arabic language) and this newspaper mentioned the name of shaikha Almayassah bint Hamad with that picture .

Doha, January 07 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani patronized this evening the opening ceremony of the 15th edition of AFC Asian Cup which got underway on Friday at the Khalifa Stadium. The opening ceremony was attended by HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and HH the Personal Representative of HH the Emir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani.

An official says a Prague court has issued an international arrest warrant for a Qatari royal family member convicted of sexually abusing minors and later extradited to his homeland. Doha, January 25 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser, jointly sponsored the First World Motor Show of XL 1 of Volkswagen Company, held at the Science and Technology Park here on Tuesday evening .
The ceremony was attended by HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, and the number of their excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers and distinguished guests .
The ceremony included a film about Volkswagen Company and another film about the technology provided to the XL 1 Car.

HE Ambassador Sheikha Alya Bint Ahmed Bin Seif Al Thani took part in United Nations.
E Ambassador Sheikha Alya said that Qatar attaches great importance to the environmental development, stressing that Qatar is implementing its voluntary commitments to the fullest especially with regard to the production of friendly environment goods, including natural gas and its derivatives, and that the State of Qatar is looking forward to agreement to the offer to host the 18th Conference of the Parties to the Convention (cop 18) in Doha in 2012.
