Queen Máxima Jewels 2: 2022 -

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I don't mind the necklace and I am glad to see it again. I would however preferred it to see the Peacock ruby necklace. We have not seen it since it's first surprise outing with this dress.

I am a big tan of the tutti-frutti demi-parure. Given the multiplicity of colours, it is a difficult necklace to get right, but Maxima does usually find the right dress to pair it with.

The tutti-frutti necklace does nothing paired with that red dress and a simple single pearl necklace would have been more effective.

So simple and so beautiful.

The jewels are really beautiful and work very nicely with the outfit.
Classic jewels suit Queen Máxima better, the clumps of plastic and bearded necklaces should all be recycled.

What a really lovely pair of earrings and nice and simple too.

For the Christmas Gala, Maxima used the necklace from the Mellerio Ruby Parure

That's one of my favorite necklaces in the Dutch collection. The three rows of large diamonds with the swirly clasp are mouthwatering.

For that amount she can purchase a nice antique diadem. But on itself there are plenty of these jewels in the collection.

Unless it was a gift I would call it a serious waste of money.

Amazon sells similar costume necklaces for under $30 USD.

Also the Queen already has similar necklaces that would've worked well with her outfit.

The queen has plenty of plastic jewels and others with leprechaun beards and critter fuzz attached, this is a far nicer addition.

I rather like the necklace.
I am more surprised she bought another ocre pantsuit.

Maxima has so many pricey piece which looks like costume jewelries, this necklace is one of them as well.

It may be that she did not acquire it herself but that it was a gift, in which case she will have had little say about it.

The brooch from the diamonds-and-rubies "Peacock" parure, to be more precise. Together with diadem, collier, earhangers and the bracelets, the brooch is an item of a parure.

Isn't the Round Sapphire Brooch part of Queen Emma's Sapphire Parure?

The earrings will be personal bijoux made from elements of the partly dismantled Grand Parure of Diamonds-and-Sapphires, created by the Dutch jewelry firm Vita Israel & Hoeting: picture. I can see the rectangle sapphires Queen Máxima wore as pendants back in this design (taken from the base of the diadem and the base of the mirroring collier).

The diamond broche originates from the 1930's when Queen Wilhelmina was first seen with it. Back then the centrestone was a green emerald, see this broche worn by the then 76 years old and very weary Princess Wilhelmina: picture. The blue sapphire now set as a centrestone is most likely taken from jewels left by Queen Anna Pavlovna of the Netherlands, Grand-Princess of Russia.

With her narrow shoulders I think the necklace would have looked even better with the central stone worn over to one side a bit.

More of the Orange emeralds.

The hairstyle of Queen Máxima, with the hair swept to a side, makes the diadem unbalanced. That sideways swept hairdo is her usual style. When she does not wear it sideways but brushed up backwards, it looks so much more balanced: picture
