I dont understand him when it comes to this--- PA being married and having a family yet he is comfortable with having 2 children who could not sit on his throne. PR understood the neccessity of having a family or is he waiting to die so the Grimaldi can claim a HRH title? through Caroline marriage to PE? hmmmmmmmmmmm

I think we should be happy for him if he's ok with his life. And all of the possible heirs are also enjoying their lives and probably no one is worried, so. This is an interesting piece. He is putting his interests in the order of importance to himself. So we all should take a clue.

Sorry - monaco.mc did not let me download a larger version of the photo. Not sure why - until now one could save the larger version.

I tried to get a short video from the Palace's Centre de Presse (www.presse.gouv.mc), but they haven't updated their coverage yet - at the time of writing we're still on April 10th...... worth checking again in a few days' time...
 
I was able to see larger version of pic. I just clicked a pic in article posted by Renata, and I waited a few seconds and it appeared.

AS Monaco is a football club which plays in the French football league.
PA and others have shares in the club through their stake in SBM (Société des Bains de Mer) which also runs the casinos.

Albert is keen to support ASM as a training base, but also wants to put it on a firm financial footing. The last two chairmen (incl Michel Pastor) have not come to grips with the financial side.

PA is appealing to the Monégasques and residents to support Monaco's institutions during the economic downturn / international crisis. He has total confidence in his government, and he refers to the G20 "blacklist" regarding fiscal transparency/cooperation; the aim is to get off thist list a.s.ap.

Indeed, Monaco is off the Black List and is now on the Grey List:

"A separate 'grey list' of countries that have agreed to improve transparency standards but have not yet signed the necessary international accords included Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Singapore and Chile as well as the Cayman Islands, Liechtenstein and Monaco."

he is here alright....the media are following him closely....and he's done an interview for our TV network too.....the other networks just did a piece on the visit.....oh and he doesn't visit the capital for two days, tomorrow he goes to Istra....Rovinj and Poreč....two places with UNESCO heritage sites he will visit and Rovinj is also a place where Monaco has invested in...

:rose:But, it would be nice to see more. the clipper ship in the background is superb as well as the art hanging from the wall, whom were the artists?:butterfly:
 
I don't know about the artist...but I do have some clips.unfortunately they are in Croatian but hey...I can translate...just give me some time....
the tapestry in the first pic on the wall is the presidential shield of Croatia...and the items on the table are the gifts that were exchanged....Albert gave our president a book about the history pf the Grimaldis and Monaco...and he got some chess pieces that represent famous croatian people from the past...if I remember correctly....I will post the links here if it is possible...

the first link is a clip about the visit......the second one is also about the visit from the daily news on the TV station...just go forward.....
and the third one is an interview in french with subtitles in croatian....it was shown on our TV tonight....

the first link doesn't work for me but the second is really nice go to minute 6 of the clip....if you don't want to see the entire news program...
