Monaco.mc - 20th March 2009 (Monaco's main internet provider; Albert regularly gives interviews to the station, including phone-ins)

Mon Monaco vu par Son Altesse Sérénissime le Prince Albert II | Portail info Monaco#

Albert reveals his seven favourite views of Monaco in a new feature named "Mon Monaco". The images are watermarked "copyright Palais Princier" and include views of the sea, of Monaco, the Palace, the Prince's private pool in the palace grounds, the harbours, the narrow lanes, and an aerial view.

Albert gives a commentary (in French) on the images, and why he chose them.
Anyone need a translation?

Unfortunatuly, Prince Albert is changing no for the best for time. The photos is quite interesting.

:globe:PA has matured quite well. he has a lot of work that he has been doing since taking the throne.

:polarbear:His pics reveal he is changing indeed for the better. obviously he's been training, do you suppose??

:unicorn:the pics were wonderful the outfit against the backdrop of beautiful sails is an alluring pic.

He always looks very good in a nautical setting. it seems to suit him quite well!! he always seems as in his element. Hopefully we will have some PA pics today as to what he's been into at water forum or anyplace else!:heartflower::butterfly:

:king2: The colors of the pics with the bubbles background provide a great backdrop for PA pics they turned out great---very aquatic!!!

:king4:We were always under the impression the mediterranean wasn't in danger but guess it's always best to take precautions!!!:easterbunny:

This bluish background from Paris forum makes Albert looking weird. Pic#2 seems only natural, he looked sad or tired though.
Albert de Monaco is in Canada
Metro - Prince to talk at sports meeting
It is World Conference about Sport and Environment in Vancouver on 3/29 and 3/30.

I guess I'm a little too much like the late George Carlin when I hear about "saving" the planet etc. I have to chuckle a little bit that human beings think so much of themselves that they believe 200 years of industrial activity could destroy a planet that is billions of years old. The earth will be fine -we just might not be.

:flowers: while all are the fav pics that one with the building model was quite awesome!!! how they did that is amazing. :easterbunny:

Albert has something to smile about - the G20 and the OECD have now removed Monaco from the "blacklist" of dodgy countries, and there is hope that, by the end of 2009, it will be moved from the "grey list" also. This would mean a lot, not just to Monaco, but to Albert personally whenever he meets other heads of states and visits other counries.

sorry - forgot link:
Monaco.maville.com G20 : Monaco rayée de la liste noire

The cartoon is brilliant!

Hey guys what are the most wanted partys of Monaco? I want to say that the royal family going.

I hope the changes in Monaco don't drive away investors. Looking better among fellow world leaders will not be of much value if the wealthy start to pull out of Monaco. Unfortunately, the way the business world works, the countries that the take the "ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies" attitude tend to be more financially well off because of it. I was disappointed to see the reclamation project shelved because of the global cash crunch and I hope there will be enough honest businessmen to make this new track improve the Monegasque economy and not worsen it.

:) It is also hoped the new laws don't damage Monaco's already clean standards.
:easterbunny: Heard somewhere that the reclamation project was only shelved to see how things go.
:butterfly:it doesn't mean that they won't re-build if this hold steady financially. :heartflower::butterfly:
