Well, in those days woman didn't have any chance to survive a Caesarean section:sad:

Despite being born prematurely, Robert was completely healthy and lived nearly 75.

The Lady Margaret Douglas, Countess of Lennox was a cousin of queen Elizabeth but as Margaret was one of England's most prominent Roman Catholics I doubt they were close.
Lady Margaret enjoyed much favour at the court of Queen Mary I and was the chief mourner at her funeral in January 1559 and soon after left the Protestant court.
Queen Elizabeth I paid for Lady Margaret's funeral and had her buried at Westminster Abbey.

Cicely was described as "less fortunate than fair." She was engaged to two different Scots princes, then after being declared illegitimate was married to Ralph Scrope, heir to the Baron Scrope. That marriage was forcibly annulled by Henry VII so she could marry his mother's half-brother, Lord Welles, who was nearly three times her age (they had two daughters who died young.) After his death, she married for love: Thomas Kymbe (or other variants), was stripped of her property, and exiled to the Isle of Wight. She had two children with her third husband and died on her 38th birthday.
