"Dancing Queen", sung by norwegian Astrid S, and the King and Queen dancing a little at their places. Such a memory from their pre-wedding concert - at 1.49.00. They seemed to like a lot of Christer Sjögren's "Honey, honey" too.

Radio Sweden spoke with the King and Queen, who were seen dancing to the Abba songs and the Queen says that it's clear, you just have to.
When the King and Queen got married, Abba performed with "Dancing Queen". The King says that the song has been with them all the years since then, almost 50 years.
When the King and Queen travel around the world, they hear that Abba's music is popular and the King says that have been fantastic ambassadors for Sweden, skilled Swedes who have shown Sweden to people abroad.
The King and Queen are now trying to get younger members of the royal family to like Abba. The Queen says that it's not just their generation, it's their children too, a second generation that also loves Abba, who are nice people. The King says with a laugh in his voice that it is indeed "three generations even", the Queen replies "we are working on it".

The Royal Court about the visit
The King inaugurated a statue, depicting a miner, outside Sala station. The royal couple then strolled through the Sala on a hand-woven red carpet produced for the anniversary. A similar carpet was produced for the city's 300th anniversary in 1924 when King Gustav V visited Sala.
The King gave a speech at the commemorative program.
The royal couple had lunch next to Långforsen and looked at the sluice system that was built for the mining operations in the Sala silver mine. At the silver mine they were given a demonstration of the mine, which worked until 1908. The King went down into the mine at a depth of 26 meters, and the Queen visited the mine's museum exhibition.

In 1922, a fundraising was organized among Swedish women in connection with Queen Victoria's 60th birthday. The money raised laid the foundation for the purchase of a number of buildings which later became a guesthouse for people who needed rest and relaxation.
The main building at Vilohemmet was built in the 1850s and the architect Torben Grut, who also designed Solliden for Queen Victoria, adapted it from a private home to a guesthouse. In 1924, the home opened up to the first guests.
