The day began with a meeting with Judge Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi who is president of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Crown Princess conversed with representatives of various parts of the court.
During the afternoon the Crown Princess visited Europol. She was met by the head of Europol Rob Wainwright. Europol's activities are focused on fighting organized crime, terrorism and other forms of serious crime affecting two or more EU Member States. Crimes as drug trafficking, smuggling and trafficking, money laundering and computer crimes. The Crown Princess also talked with the Swedish police liaison officers and customs inspectors working in the Swedish part. The Swedish national member of Eurojust attended at the meeting.
The Crown Princess visited the OPCW (Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons), where she was received by the Director-General Ahmet Üzümcü. The OPCW was the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2013 and the Crown Princess got the opportunity to meet with employees who are operationally involved in efforts to prevent the proliferation and use of chemical weapons.

Ambassador Emsgård: "It was fun to show to the Crown Princess some of the key international organizations that exist here in The Hague and tell more about the work that the embassy makes on behalf of Sweden here. Sweden plays an active role in multilateral cooperation and in the active work for global peace and security that these organizations ".

Victoria inaugurated this morning Queen Hedvig Eleonora's jubilee year 2015's exhibition "Talande textil" (Talking textiles) at the Gripsholm Castle in Mariefred. The exhibition highlights the importance of the textiles based on paintings and preserved textiles from linen from Hedvig Eleonora's dowry to tapestries and gold embroidered table covers.

Victoria attends today at the Swedish Federation for Voluntary Defence Education and Training's Military Weekend in Berga.

Military Weekend is a weekend where young women and men get the opportunity to try a variety of activities. During the day, the crown princess along with thirty other participants try out medical operations, shoot with different weapons and try to extinguish fires.
The Crown Princess has particularly wished to see and participate in the Military Weekend. We see it as a confirmation that we have produced a very good and interesting "Try to" -weekend, says secretary general Bengt Sandström. The crown princess participates with representatives from the Veteran Reserve Foundation.

Crown Princess Victoria ended the afternoon on Military Weekend to see a battle demonstration and with shooting with different weapons.
The Crown Princess was very happy to have chosen to be with, and that along with all the others got to try out so many things. She was additionally very impressed with all that set up and helped.

Victoria was playing football on Thursday morning with 9-year-old goalscorer Felix. She visited Romfartuna Unirws's training with Crown Princess Victoria's fund.
Victoria and the former football stars Thomas Ravelli and Tomas Brolin visited Hökåsen's stadium in Västerås to play football with Romfartuna United, a team of children with Down syndrome. Felix Boman has played football for a year. He was greatly impressed when he scored one of the goals in the game - then crown princess jumped into one of the team members.
- She played on the top but I don't think she was involved in Felix's goal, says mother Ylva Boman.
After the game the crown princess talked to both the children and the coaches.
- She was really nice and really down to earth. It was very funny that she came here, says Ylva Boman.
Thomas Ravelli and Tomas Brolin also took the time to play with the kids - and even gave some occasional football tips.
Romfartuna United trains usually on Sundays, but because of the royal visit they changed weekly training to Thursday.
Victoriafonden/Crown Princess Victoria's Fund works for children and young people with disabilities and / or chronic disease. This visit will be shown on SVT on the Victoria Day in July.

Two years ago I started a project together with the Swedish Football in Romfartuna GIF's auspices. I wanted to show that in Romfartuna GIF so are all different and different is good! We are for everyone regardless of the conditions you have in life. After the project "National Team Football School", we managed to create a team for children with intellectual disabilities. This year, the team is hailed for their passionate commitment and joy to football by Crown Princess Victoria's Fund. On 14 July, Oskar (left in picture) travels to Öland to participate in Crown Princess Victoria's birthday celebration and then receive the team's scholarship.

Does anyone know in which language she communicated in? Is there a chance she might know some portuguese words, given her backgrounds?
 
I think that she may know the greetings and some compliments in portuguese but nothing more.

I thought so too... It is quite remarkable indeees since Queen Silvia is half brazilian... But it is not surprising because Victoria is not fluent in german either...:flowers:

About the visit at the court website
The visit began in the Academia das Ciências the Lisbon, where the president Prof. Luís Aires-Barros welcomed Victoria. During the visit Victoria gave the Academy The Linnaeus Apostles - Global Science & Adventure, a work containing eleven books totaling over 5,500 pages. It is the first time statements of Linnaeus's disciples have been translated in English.

During the evening a National Day reception for about 300 people was held at the Volvo Pavilion at Waterfront "Race Village" in Lisbon.
On Friday, Victoria took part in the ministerial Blue Week, a conference that focuses on marine economy and marine environmental issues.
Portuguese President Aníbal António Cavaco Silva received the Crown Princess for a meeting held in the presidential palace, the Palácio de Belém, in Lisbon.
The Crown Princess was onboard Team SCA's boat during a so-called Pro-Am Race. Team SCA competes for Sweden in the Volvo Ocean Race and has a female crew. The Crown Princess is godmother to SCA's boat and had previously met the crew in August 2014 in Stockholm.

"It’s very exciting being onboard, we didn’t have the best wind, but it was lot of fun and in the the end we did gets some wind!" After racing the Crown Princess visited the team at their shore base, and even assisted with some of the food packing for the next leg.
Before leaving the Team SCA’s Skipper Sam Davies presented the Crown Princess with her very own custom Team SCA LEGO figure to match the full team and their LEGO boat which has been travelling the world during the race.

Despite a crown princess at the helm the day wasn't so good for Team SCA which was beaten by most of the boats on the starting grid.
Crown Princess, what happened?
- We did not have the wind with us, laughed Victoria when Expressen met her after the race.
She is excited by the contest and to have been on board the boat and filled with admiration for the women who compete with the boat:
- There is such extreme conditions that few understand. Being onboard such a boat is an incredible feeling, it leaves so much energy.

- Fantastic.

Victoria laughs:
- Well, I would never manage it like they do. I'm not even close to that routine with the sea. It would be quite impossible for me.

Victoria was flying back home from Lisbon to Sweden via the Kastrup Airport in Denmark. Her flight from Kastrup to Stockholm was going to leave at 22.45. When she got to Kastrup, she was told that her flight is indefinitely suspended.
The court resolved this by arranging a new transport for Victoria. When Expressen reached Ulrika Näsholm from the court's information department, who has been together with Crown Princess Victoria in Lisbon, she said that Victoria and her company right now are on the way up to Stockholm in the car.
SAS also sent out text messages to all passengers that the flight until further notice was delayed and that the new information would come at 23.00.
The reason was that all the flights from Kastrup were set up due to a trade union action among the ground crew that has been going on since 20 o'clock in the evening.
Crown Princess Victoria has a number of commitments in the morning at home in Sweden, but according to Ulrika Näsholm none of this will be affected by the delay.
- The Crown Princess is going up to Stockholm in the car. There is a strike at Kastrup and there is no aircraft, we can not influence to that. But it will not change the celebration or the Crown Princess commitments, the program will continue as planned tomorrow, said Näsholm.
Already at 10.30, Victoria is along with Prince Daniel in Uppsala for the National Day celebrations. In the afternoon, she also has an official commitment on Haga Castle and in the evening the televised celebration of Skansen.
