Victoria was seen walking with Daniel and the children in Stockholm on 1st January. Victoria has still her maternity leave left and obviously the king has given her and Daniel some time off from the beginning of the year, paternity leave for Daniel. So now according to the calendar we will see Victoria on 6th March. It is also possible that the calendar will be updated and she has a work event earlier.
 
I didn't realize she was still on maternity leave, it is a year in Sweden?

Parental leave in Sweden is 480 days, 90 of those are reserved for the dad.

The press release from the Crafoord Prize tells that Victoria will deliver this year's Crafoord Prize on 18th May.
The Crafoord Prize is awarded as a partnership between the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Crafoord Foundation in Lund.
The prize is awarded in one discipline each year, according to a set schedule for Mathematics and Astronomy, Geosciences, and Biosciences. The prize for Polyarthritis is awarded only when a special committee has demonstrated that scientific progress in this field has been such that an award is justified.
The prize amount is 6 million SEK to be shared equally between the Laureates.
The award ceremony will be held at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences on 18 May 2017, in the presence of H.R.H. Crown Princess Victoria.

Victoria's calendar has been updated today with some events in March and April, among them the opening of Marianne Bernadotte's fashion exhibition.

I have been quiet ( and still wil be for what it is worth) but to say that I am baffled and surprised at Victoria's break would be a mild statement. Just hope everything is fine.

The court updated today Victoria's calendar: She will visit Tokyo, Japan after Easter, on 18th-21st April.

- The trip intends to deepen the Crown Princess's work in sustainability, fisheries and maritime affairs. These are questions that the Crown Princess as an ambassador for the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals has chosen to focus particarly on.
During the trip, Victoria also meets the Crown prince of Japan and representatives of the Swedish and Japanese business life, said the court.

Victoria attended at Stockholm Peace Talks at the Stockholm City Hall this evening. Some magnificent and very moving speeches were heard during the event.

With the President of the City Council, Eva-Louise Erlandsson Slorach, the speakers of this event and Tord Magnuson, the Chairman of the Board of the Interpeace Sweden.

On Victoria's visit to Tokyo, Japan, on 18th-21st April, she will on 19th April attend at International Symposium: Public Engagement for the Global Goals with a Special Focus on Sustainable Oceans.
UNU-IAS, Global Environment Outreach Centre (GEOC) and Embassy of Sweden will jointly hold an International Symposium: Public Engagement for the Global Goals with a Special Focus on Sustainable Oceans with HRH Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden (Sustainable Development Goals Advocate). This event is supported by the United Nations Information Centre, Tokyo.

Svensk Damtidning has got the program on Victoria's trip to Japan. She lands in Tokyo on 17th April. On her trip she will specialize in issues related to environmental management and sustainable development.
The visit reconnects with the historic fishing agreement signed last fall concluded in the Maldives which Victoria witnessed, and thus it is very focused on environmental issues.
Victoria visits among other things supermarket chain AEON's stores to hear more about their sustainability efforts, attends the launch of H & M's Concious Exclusive Collection, and participates in a seminar at the UN University. Victoria will also meet the winners of the Swedish Embassy's contest on sustainable seas and attend at the embassy's seminar on sustainable business.
Victoria will also go outside Tokyo. Part of the program is placed in Shiogama City, north of Tokyo, where Victoria visits a fishing company.

It is a follow-up meeting for the three-day long Keystone Dialogue, which was held in November at the Soneva Fushi Resort on Maldives, Victoria attended at the Dialogue as its patron. At the dialogue eight of the world's largest seafood companies, collectively operating in all segments of marine fisheries and aquaculture production across the entire world, published a joint statement which outlines their concern about the current and future state of the ocean, and identifies a number of areas, which they will address together – in order to actively contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
 
Expressen writes about Victoria being a regent now when the king is in Brazil. Expressen wrote yesterday that the king and queen stay for a holiday after their official duties in Brazil and return to Sweden next Wednesday.
Margareta Thorgren says that it is routine that Victoria is a regent when the king is abroad, often only when he is outside Europe. When the king is in Europe he can act as the Head of State if something unexpected would happen. And if both the king and Victoria are abroad, Carl Philip is a regent.
As a regent Victoria has all the duties of the Head of State. Thorgren tells that Victoria being a regent means that Victoria attends at meetings with the government if those are arranged. If something unexpected would happen, some major incident, Victoria takes care of it.

Victoria has attended at the meeting of the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs.

Wednesday, April 6 was held an Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs at the Royal Palace.
Advisory Council is a consultative organ between the parliament and the government where the Head of State is the chairman. The Council consists of the Chairman and nine other members of parliament and nine deputies.
Because the King is currently on a trip abroad the Crown Princess attended in accordance with Chapter 5. Section 4 of the Form of Government as the regent at the meeting.
The Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs shall be convened by the government. The Constitution states that "The Government shall keep the Advisory Council informed of the foreign policy conditions that may have implications for the country and discuss with the Council on these as often as needed."

The Crown Princess today chaired a meeting of the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs. As the King is on a trip abroad the Crown Princess attended the meeting alone.

The major incident just happened. A lorry has driven into pedestrians at the biggest shopping street in Stockholm There are so many rumors flying around at the moment, and it looks like the death toll is rising. The subway, parliament and many other main buildings are closed down :sad:

The king gave a statement, I posted it to the king's and queen's thread. Many coincidences. First Expressen published the article, then Victoria chaired the meeting of The Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs and now this attack.

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan paid a courtesy visit to the Swedish Crown Princess Victory Alice Desiree in Stockholm on Friday, as part of her ongoing official visit to Sweden.
Ms. Ngan thanked the Swedish royal family, government, and people for their assistance for Vietnam, especially the non-refundable aid worth more than 3 billion USD to help train Vietnamese experts, engineers, and doctors. Svensk Damtidning writes at their article, that Adam Beije from the swedish Embassy tells that the lunch visit was planned to last an hour but Victoria stayed at the Palace on several hours.
