Nice that we got photos busy day for Frederik.
More on the visit from King Letsie

Frederik also held public audiences today
In addition to meeting with the King of Lesotho in Monday, King Frederik also held public audience. Here are photos of some the individuals that attended.

Always nice to get some pics and info from the guests to the audiences.

Today, HM the King receives ambassadors from Brazil, Cyprus and Estonia in a farewell audience.

Hope we get some photos. The King has been quite busy leading up to their 8 day visit to Greenland.

King Frederik attended the Parade at the Royal Life Guards and presented the "King's Watch" in Copenhagen this morning, June 27:

Afterwards he attended the opening of an exhibition about his commitment to the Danish defense:

At least he is not wearing a tele-tubby outfit...
But what do you think of his full dress army uniform?

We do miss the teletubby outfit from Margrethe, but Frederik in uniform no complaints here.
The army uniform is nice, I do wonder how it would look if the pants were the same green as the jacket.

More from the event, hot day

And from the exhibit.

Oh the teletubby outfit...almost as infamous as the shower curtain raincoat! No one can ever say that QMII never brought flair/pizazz to an event (and still does)..lol. Frederik in any uniform is fine by me.

Here is some more information on the new exhibit regarding Frederik's decades long military career. Looks great with the old photos and uniform. And I must say, the photo of him in his flight gear is not bad at all and the free fall one as well.

Great photos all around. Lovely surprise engagement!

A wonderful exhibit. He look so young when he started his military career..
(..)
I love how in the photo with the painting in the back he is crossing his arms the same way. That is a nice painting btw.

The ambitions of the DK politicians is to ensure that DK, while not leading the AI revolution, then certainly is up there near the front of the field.
I think that's taxpayer money well spend.

And King Frederik who has been involved in technical development for years is a natural to attend such events.

King Frederik met Danish athletes preparing for the Summer Olympics:

When the Olympic Flame is lit next Friday in Paris, Denmark will send 123 participants. In recent months, His Majesty the King has visited a number of the Danish athletes who have been fighting for years to get in the right Olympic shape. 🏓 In this video, the King surprises the Danish table tennis players Jonathan Groth, Anders Lind, Martin Buch Andersen and Tobias Rasmussen in the middle of their training in Brøndby. For the first time ever, Denmark has qualified a team for the Olympics in table tennis. Jonathan Groth and Anders Lind will also compete in singles at the Olympics. At the upcoming Olympics, Denmark is represented in no fewer than 20 different sports. Follow along in the next few days when the King meets other athletes.

Always great to highlight more athletes and sports.
From Bordtennis Danmark, "We are EXCITED to announce that we had the finest visit from Det danske kongehus. It was a great honour that His Majesty the King visited the national team for a game of table tennis earlier this year. Many thanks for the recognition and for a lovely visit. They are always welcome back for a double!"

Love it! And that he's highlighting not only multiple sports but also the ones that are less known as well....always making sure that they athletes are the ones in the spotlight! I also like that these are usually unannounced events. He is genuinely interested - not just a photo op.

He also has pretty good form! I bet he had a great time. Of course, sports or anything athletic is a natural milieu for him, so I'm not surprised.

Yes - sports, especially health through sport is one of his main core causes in addition to green technology, climate change, and now also AI (causes, effects and methods) plus his continued work in promoting Danish businesses. Those that say he needs focus causes either don't follow him and what he's done over the years or choose not to pay attention.

Oh, absolutely. He's far more well-rounded than people give him credit for. However, he definitely does enjoy his sporty endeavors. LOL

Getting ready for the Paris Olympics! I want his sweater!

Aside from thinking about how great he looked in that sweater, I also kept saying, "Don't throw your back out!" LOL

I only wish there were English subtitles so I knew what everyone was saying. Haha.

I don’t know…he was twirling rather too elegantly for that 😂.

"Hammer thrower and Olympic debutant Katrine Koch Jacobsen was visited by His Majesty the King earlier this summer on a random training day.
During his visit, the king got a good introduction to the hammer throwing discipline as well as an insight into Katrine Koch Jacobsen's targeted training for the Paris Olympic Games👌 By the way, this is the first time that Denmark has brought a female hammer thrower to the Olympics.
Tune in tomorrow as the King attempts to step into some very special pedals."

An Olympic debutant in Katrine and the first time Denmark has brought a female thrower, how amazing! Love that he is highlighting these athletes and their less popular sport.

Thanks to Billedbladet we got part of the conversation
"When he himself had to try his hand at a hammer throw, he was allowed to see and lift the hammer used by the men and the women respectively.
- I think it will be with the women's hammer. At my age! Laughs 56-year-old King Frederik in the video."

LOL! It's good to see Frederik taking it easy in his advanced age. ;)

Love this! I love that he's visiting the less covered sports and the ones for which Danish athletes have qualified for the first time - bringing attention that they may otherwise not get. I like that he's not self-conscious and is like - yeah I will take the lighter hammer lol.
