Tiaras and Jewels guessing for upcoming events: 2024

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
My guesses for Princess Martha Louise’s wedding in August:

Martha Louise: King Olav Gift tiara
Sonja: Josephine’s Emerald Parure tiara
Mette Marit: Diamond Daisy tiara
Ingrid: Pearl Circle Tiara
Astrid: Vasa tiara
Maud: Amethyst tiara
Leah: Vifte tiara

I will re-post my guesses if foreign royals are confirmed.
Victoria and Daniel are confirmed to attend. I predict Victoria will wear the Small Cut Steel tiara.

Carl Philip and Sofia have also confirmed to attend. I predict Sofia will wear her wedding tiara .

Dress code on saturday for the wedding of Durek Verret and Martha Verret (my new name for her for ever) is black tie. So I don't think we will see tiaras for that wedding.

That makes much more sense considering the relaxed setting and the scaled down shape of the wedding.

King Carl Gustaf's 70th birthday banquet had dress code black tie, and the women had tiaras.

Of course there could be a possibility. But the place the wedding will take place is not very suitable for tiaras. And it is also her second wedding. Well, lets see. But I don't think so. I think most likely it will be like the black tie government banquet for Harald and Sonja's 80th.

My final guesses of Princess Martha Louise’s wedding:

Martha Louise: King Olav Gift tiara
Sonja: Maltese tiara (bandeau only)
Mette Marit: Diamond Daisy tiara
Ingrid: Pearl Circle Tiara
Astrid: Gold tiara
Maud: Amethyst tiara
Leah: Vifte tiara
Victoria: Small Cut Steel tiara
Sofia: Wedding tiara
Laurentien: Aquamarine tiara

I know it seems likely it will not be a tiara event but I wrote this just in case .

I think you will see a bit of jewellery sharing amongst the three younger children of Mary and Fred. They will not need tiaras that often. Rather than hand over three tiaras that will leave the main line, Mary will do well to collect a few more tiaras that can be shared across the family. She already has her wedding tiara and the Edwardian spinel tiara she bought a few years ago. She probably needs to get another "pool" tiara, and perhaps then a more serious tiara for the wife of Christian.
Surely Christians wife will use the ruby parure ? I understood that it was left to Frederick by Queen Ingrid for the use of the Crown Prince's wife , or am I mistaken ?

For her wedding today, I'm sure Victoria López-Quesada y de Borbón-Dos Sicilias will use the Habsburg button diamond tiara, just liker mother Princess Cristina and her aunts.

It’s not confirmed but there are rumors that there will be a SV from Finland to Norway in October. If Ingrid attends I would like if she wore a new tiara like the Amethyst or the Diamond Daisy tiara.

Queen Ingrid left the tiara to Fred, who just happened to be Crown Prince at the time. I am not sure if there is a stipulation it can only be used by a Crown Princess. Mary, as Queen, continues to use.

It is correct that the ruby parure was was left to Frederick by Queen Ingrid. There is no reason to believe that it was intended for the use of the Crown Prince's wife and then passed on to the next Crown Princess. Ingrid wore the parure as both Crown Princess and Queen.

ETA:
IMO if the ruby parure were intended to be for the Crown Princess then it would've been passed on to Margrethe when she came of age.

Respectfully I disagree with the idea that that the parure would have been passed to Magrethe , at that time it was not even an idea . It only became such when Queen Ingrid passed , before then it was her personal property .

I am having my fingers crossed that Pss Elisabeth´s sapphire tiara was bought and will be combined with Q. Margrethe´s saphire necklace to create an impressive set for Christian´s future wife. And let´s hope King Frederik will be able to buy back the diamond drop tiara from the Css of Frederiksborg.

Omg! That's a genius idea! I also think they bought it, but it never crossed my mind to make a fusion with QMII's sapphire necklace. Just imagine, that future wife of his could have a ruby parure and a sapphire tiara, plus the emeralds, and the pearls.....Oh My!

Queen Alexandrine's tiara has to return to the family....just like the Khedive (?) what would be of it? The Greeks have plenty of tiaras, I can't imagine Anne-Marie will leave it to her two daughters or Alexia's daughters (Olympia has a tiara of her own). It should return to Denmark, to be used by Isabella, Josephine, Athena, and the greek granddaughters on their wedding days.

So then why do / did you think that things would be different with it being passed on to Fred? That Fred would allow his wife to use it while Crown Princess and then Queen, but then when Christian marries, designate it for his wife. That would track if Queen Mary was deceased when Christian marries, or Mary never wore it or rarely wore the parure indicating that she did not care for it, but it's been her most-worn tiara.

My interpretation of your comment is that the ruby parure is intended for the Crown Princess, and if that's the case, then it would have been passed on to Crown Princess Margrethe when she came of age.

I suppose Theodora will wear the Khedive of Egypt as bridal tiara. Should she marry in Greece or in Denmark?

?
She's the youngest daughter of the last King of the Hellenes, and she's getting married in Athens.

As a descendant of Ingrid, it has to be the Khedive she wears.

It has been Mary's most worn tiara because for most of her married life it has been the most impressive parure she has had access to , Mary as Crown Princess only ever wore 3 tiara's . She never had access to the royal collection . It was only after Queen Ingrid's death, that in her will she left the Ruby Parure to Frederick for the use of his future wife . Ingrid was gifted the Parure by her husband's family , upon her marriage and wore it in various forms throughout her life . As Queen consort Mary now has access to the whole royal collection, apart from QM 11 own personal jewels , therefore I am merely speculating that the Ruby Parure will be in the main , be worn by future crown princesses .

Time will have to tell. Christian's future wife will definitly get at least one tiara to wear. That may, or may not be the ruby parure. I can also imagine that his grandmother leaves him, or gifts him, some of her personal jewels. The honeysuckle tiara comes to my mind here.

As for the sapphire tiara of princess Elisabeth, that one was auctioned of, wasn't it? The royals rarely buy at high profile auctions, with the price tags all over the internet. They might have been offered to buy it privately and discretely, possibly showed no interest, and than it went to the auction. So, I have no hope to ever see it on a Danish royal again.

There's a dinner for diplomats at the Royal Palace in Stockholm this month. Should have tiaras or not?

When listening to Nikolais recent interviews and how proud he is if his linage I dont think we will ever see the drop tiara back in the danish core royal family. Why would they return it when both boys will have probably wifes of their own who can wear it when they are invited to family royal events.

And Pavlos is loaded trough his wife, they have no problem paying inheritance tax, neither does the other son, Anne Marie got it from her mother, Im sure its very sentimental, why would she give it to a nephew over her own sons or daughters? Im sure the greek family will continue to lend it to brides that are related to queen Ingrid like they have done for Benediktes daughter Natalie, but give it away? I would be supprised.

There is a "diplomatmottagning" = Diplomatic reception for new ambassadors, held usually in the afternoon. On a few occasions per year, newly appointed foreign envoys are given the opportunity to meet members of the Royal Family at a reception at the Royal Palace.
In June's reception:

Be that as it may, Mary has worn the ruby parure as Crown Princess and as Queen.

Might you be correct on both fronts! It would be great to see a married sapphire parure in the Danish main line.

It depends on when Christian marries. If Queen Margarethe is still alive, I guess a new tiara will be acquired for Christian's wife. If QM2 is deceased, it is possible that the Baden Palmette tiara is made available to the new Crown Princess.

It is a representation dinner? If it’s not then it’s most likely not a tiara event.
I have fear of no representation dinners in 2024...
