Is that the original dress re modelled, if so I prefer this style, the first one overwhelmed her, plus she had her hair scraped back then. I much prefer this style, also her hair hanging loose with just a hint of a curl.

Meghan in a colour, and in red, no less! She looks good, gown fits well and her hair is down which is nice, even if we’ve seen this dress before.

Sorry, I'm still not a fan of this gown even after the alterations.
Meghan has many other gowns that she could have re-worn.

I wish she'd selected this one.

I’m not either. She is at least wearing a good color and it fits nicely. I will say the alterations improved the dress. (I’ve seen her alter dresses in ways that didn’t suit her, but this time she did better.)

But- I don’t like the style of the bodice in particular at all. Not flattering imo.

The Duchess IMO looks like a reality tv starlet in this reworked dress. She has much nicer ones and even the original version was at least less basic. Usually I tend to like what she wears but this not so much, it simply looks cheap, which I am sure it was not. But on the positive side: great that she is re-working these items and wearing them again and the colour suits her well.

Credit to Meghan for reworking the dress. But that said, I never liked the dress previously, and I don't like it now. The top part is not aesthetically pleasing IMO, and it certainly does not work for Meghan, IMO. The best part of the dress for me is the colour.

I also never liked this gown -- this version isn't any better than the original.

BTW, did she forget to wear make-up? Taking that natural, breezy look a bit too far. JMHO

I too didn’t like it first time round and I don’t like it now. The colour is good on her but even with the alterations, the bodice is a terrible fit.

The "bodice " is as badly constructed in this re-working as in its original appearance . This is supposedly a designer [ I will not say couture gown ] ??? Add in the California beach hair . Well yet again, Rachel Megan Markle ignoring a stylist's advice .

I do wonder why she goes for these long dresses with high-cut front splits. As someone who made many unfortunate fashion choices for decades, specifically wrap dresses and the "tulip" kind of skirt detail, I know that protecting one's modesty becomes the focus when wearing potentially revealing clothes and not the event itself.

Carolina Herrera is a consistent choice for both Queen Letizia , and many "society ladies". I have to say her designs do not suit the Duchess . I struggle to understand why Ms Markle cannot seem to listen to any stylist . I love seeing her in any colour , the bleige , [I know that is not a real word ], colours she favours , just wash her out .

Some of the absolute worst outfits that have been worn publicly by celebrities have been put together by stylists. So that is never a guarantee that an outfit would look good. I trully believe that there are 2 conditions for an outfit to be successfull (to be appropriate for the ocasion and to make the person wearing it feel good by doing so). Everything else is subject to personal preference.

If it's the same dress my verdict can only be one- it wasn't fitting her then and now it's still bad fitting. And I would restrain myself from commenting on these loose messy hair.....

The Duchess appears to know that she knows more than any stylist or pr person . Which strikes me as odd as these professionals are putting their own reputations on the line , being associated with her ????
