Meghan looked good on both occasions - I agree that she seems to be wearing casual outfits on this tour, but it doesn't seem to be an incredibly formal visit.

I feel like some royal watchers are so used to other royal ladies coming out of maternity leave and looking perfectly thin after having their babies. Now we are seeing Meghan who is not the same body shape any more. She is more shapely and that will probably be her new normal. She may still have a few pounds to lose but is by no means overweight imo. She along with the public will not need to adjust to how her clothes will look on her from now on.

Meghan still has "baby-weight" from Archie's birth; and I think it's nice to see her maintaining a more "normal" image of post-birth bodies. So many royal women have been seen looking like models as early as the standing on the hospital steps with the baby (Catherine, for example, looked flawless at all her children's after birth hospital photos); that it many gives royal watchers who haven't yet had children an unrealistic expectation of their appearance after childbirth.

There's a saying regarding baby weight: nine months up, nine months down. I think she looks great, and probably ahead of the curve compared to the average post-partum woman.

The Duchess of Sussex on day 1 in South Africa today, September 23:

** Full view **

I don't like the dress. Beautiful style but awful print.

.

The Duchess of Sussex changed into a blue dress later today:

** Full view ** Full view 2 **

Beautiful color but I dislike the dress. I dislike the style and design.

:previous:

Here are some photos of her first look today:

** Full view ** Upper part **

I dislike the shoes and jacket but the rest of the outfit looks nice.

.

Here's look number two today:

** Full view ** Upper part ** Without the veil **

I find this dress awful. Terrible fabric and style/design.

I Don't like the colour of that dress but of course everyone have one's own tastes !
So I won't call it ugly just not to my taste !

some women gain extra weight during pregnancies, many do not. I didn’t gain any extra weight during both of my pregnancies, possibly because of moths of morning sickness. But I wouldn’t take it as a given that extra weight is a given in pregnancy

Plastic clothes in South Africa?? Doesn’t that sweat awfully??

I am not sure about that particular fabric but I have some table cloths that are made from recycled plastic bottles. You would never know it to feel the fabric. It is soft and seems quite breathable. One of the nice things is that liquids bead up so you can wipe them up without any stains.

Like yesterday, loved first look didn't like second.

Loved the casual look with jean jacket. Maybe Canadian in me. Great look for the event :flowers:

Olive dress like the color but that's it. The shiny fabric is awful. Her head scarf is nice though.

Well for people who always want color, got 2/4 looks in color.

I've liked all the dresses except the one she wore to the mosque. Nice to see some recycling.

I really liked the print dress on day 1 and found the casual look on the morning of day 2 fine, but I loathe the olive dress.

I like today's dress very much. Light and cool looking, not a lot of colour but the print is lovely. And Meghan's hair is pinned back and not flapping which is good.

Her dress is very nice and chic and her hair is loads better as well. I am
Over her hair looking so casual and flyaway.

Meghan Markle Swapped Her Wrap Dress for an On-Trend Jumpsuit
But we can't take our eyes off of those statement earrings.
By Sam Reed Sep 25, 2019 @ 8:45 am

The Duchess of Sussex, who wore a printed blue Club Monaco dress while introducing Archie to the Archbishop Desmond Tutu, traded in her wrap dress for a sleek black deep-V Everlane jumpsuit ($120; everlane.com) with a belted waist.[/B] She accessorized sparingly, adding just a pair of gold Gas Bijoux statement earrings and black pointed-toe Manolo Blahnik pumps to round out the minimalist look.

Love the blue print dress from the Tutu meeting. I'm undecided about the pantsuit ..I'm not usually a fan of them.

I think Meghan's dress from this morning is lovely but honestly, nobody is going to care what she is wearing when her best accessory is Archie. The second outfit looks great from the waist up. From the waist down, it's a jumpsuit and the pant length is high waters, which is not a good thing. Jumpsuits should stay in the category of being used to protect clothes while doing a messy job or for people who are literally jumping out of things.

I think it's rather elegant. Though black. Oh, well! Clean lines, simple, unfussy. Got my wish that Meghan would wear some big jewellery, as well!

She's worn that jumpsuit before too...I remember a pic being released where she wore it to either Smartworks or some engagement.

I'm loving both of Meghan's outfits for today, even though one of them is the oh-so-predictable solid black. The dress for the meeting with Desmond Tutu is perfect, and the kind of thing I wish she would wear more often, soft, flowing and with a subtle and appealing print. That detail at the bottom of the skirt is especially lovely.

I'm normally not a huge fan of jumpsuits because they are so easy to get wrong, but the proportions on this one are very nice, and the deep v-neck and flattering cut on the armholes keeps the look chic. The earrings are the perfect finishing touch. So far, much, much better than yesterday.

:previous: I agree Ista. Today's family coordination in blue and tonight's jumpsuit were perfect choices IMO.

I love the blue and white dress. Fantastic choice.

Jumpsuit great recycle. Worked for event .

Only second black outfit and first had great print so doesn’t really count IMO. Getting the colour everyone always complains needs.

I really like both outfits today!
The first one was flowly and airy and the colours were lovely!
She looks great in that jumpsuit and I absolutely adore her earrings!!

She looks stunning in that jumpsuit, perfect on her..i wishe the pants were little long but nevermind this is very beautiful look for the Duchess.
The first outfit of the day is success too,a very nice dress

I liked both of the outfits in Capetown though the dress had the edge on my vote and was really stylish.

Look 1 – very nice dress, flattering and appropriate. Hair painfully scraped back again. But her best accessory in all photos is Archie, so everything else pales in comparison.

Look 2 – I dislike jumpsuits (they are supremely unflattering on most women) and black, so this look is not for me. Great earrings though.

However, I love that she’s been wearing a number of repeats on this tour and more affordable brands. Not a new bespoke Givenchy or Prada in sight! Camilla manages to do seven-day tours with no new clothing and I wish the younger royals would follow her example, at least in part. Meghan has made a great start on this tour.

Is her hairdresser on this tour? He was on the previous ones, but I haven’t seen any info about this one.

I liked her dress today as well. If she has no longer any use for it, I'd be happy to take it ?

Agree with you on the jumpsuit as well.
