The powder blue suit is similar to previous coat dresses and she she wore the Dacre brooch to show she is an honorary air commandant. (..)

IMO Kate is very confident and comfortable as future Queen and mother of 3, it shoes in her clothes choices, another classy outfit very befitting her position.

Does this mean she has the same design in 3 different colours (white, yellow & blue)?

I was never really convinced that her coat at Meghan's wedding was the same one at Charlotte's christening... It had a very distinct yellow tone once she's not standing directly in the sun.

Yes, exactly that--three colors. One of the Kate fashion blogs compared the Charlotte Christening coat dress to the M&H wedding coat dress and found that they were definitely different. There were a number of small details that showed there were two coat dresses.

I agree, in a number of photos at the wedding, Kate's outfit was distinctly very pale yellow. One photo that showed the color was Kate standing with Charlotte in her white flower girl dress.

I think she's sticking to something she knows works right now while technically on maternity leave--it is easy for McQueen to whip up another coat dress from the existing pattern in a different color with small changes in details. This one has 3/4 sleeves.

She looks very nice today.

Ok, I am just going to say it, I hate this style on Kate. Another dated McQueen. It was fine in the yellow at the wedding but is meh here.

To be honest, I think she might have it in four colors. I think we've seen it in white, blue, yellow, and pink. I'm not 100% positive about that but I believe that's the case.

Overall she looks beautiful but honestly, I attribute that more to her glow and the fact that she is so clearly besotted with Louis and with her position as mother and wife. When a woman is deeply happy with where she is in life it shines through and I think that's what we're seeing with her lately. As for the outfit...eh. I'm usually a great fan of what she wears but I'm bored with the McQueen coatdresses that all look the same. Yes she wears the style well and the color looks fabulous on her but it's time to break out a new style or a new cut. As for the headwear....I'm torn. Sometimes I look at it and I love the uniqueness of it and the fact that it's out of her norm. Then at other times I look at it and cringe.

She looks very elegant and I love the hat. I just can't get over how she was looking at Louis yesterday---an expression of pure delight!!! George, Charlotte, and Louis are greatly loved by their parents and I am so excited to watch the grow up over the years.

Interesting. I don't find the style dated at all--it seems classic Kate to me. I like the defined waist, the V neckline and the decorative lapels.

Catherine looked just gorgeous today, so another McQueen dress, this is the royal working clothes, appropriate and elegant to wear to represent HM and the country. She has most surely come into the role for a future queen, she is learning and has learned from the best, HM and the firm. I love the color on her, the hat is just perfect and that brooch is a wow factor. And she just had her 3rd baby, darn she has great genes to look this great after all that she has been through to have them...

I really dislike those lapels. I don't like them in blue, I didn't like them in white or yellow, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like them in bright fuschia or black or orange and green polka dots. They're just no fixing that the proportions are unwieldy. The rest of the coat is fine on her, the actual cut of the neckline is a good one for her, but the lapels are over-wide, over-pointy, and somehow over-flat.

If she really wanted a dress in several different color, the one she wore to Louis' christening would've been the better choice. This one is just a bore and quite frankly ages her.

The colour of Catherine's outfit today is beautiful and really suits her. I like her hat too, it's simple but elegant.

I much prefer today's look to the christening yesterday. I really didn't like the headdress yesterday and thought the total effect looked like she was in costume. Also, as others have said, quite ageing. Today she looked fine and the blue certainly suits her.

It's just downright redundant at this point, no variety at all. I think the babies christening gowns have more uniqueness.

I kept wondering why I dislike this style on Catherine and you nailed it. The lapels do seem to be of a disproportionate size and there seems to be a gap or perhaps a missed hook or button at the waist. Overall I wasn't fussed on the ice blue colour as it seemed to make her look drained. But, that could be just because she looked so bright and joyful in the dress she wore for the christening.

I agree. Also consider the photos that will be taken. Kate knows from the previous christenings for her children, that in the official photos that baby will be seated on her lap and supported against her back. All that will really be visible are her hat, shoulders, arms and legs. Her torso will be blocked due to the baby being seated there. The focus of the photo will be on the child and the beautiful christening gown. The mother simply becomes part of the background IMHO.

:previous: All the more reason someone with an artistic background would have thought to wear something other then cream. Placing the star of a picture on a background they blend into, isn't visually appealing. She is meant to be background to him as you put it. Instead Louis and Kate blend into each other in similar shade.

Sorry but today's dress was her usual...… a big yawn :ermm:

Simple and plain. If she likes the style, no reasons she doesn't wear the white, yellow or pink version she owns of it. And not another. If she is going to buy another dress, perhaps a new style??

Her hair looks lovely, but not enjoying flowers on her head.

On this we'll have to agree to disagree as the christening gown is truly a deeper cream than the mother's dresses. She seems to have gone lighter with the outfits for Charlotte's and Louis' christenings when compared to George's. IMHO she's taken the time to consider this as well as the lighting, the room colors and the furniture on which the photos will be taken. ?
Comparison photos with George, Charlotte and Louis' christenings. You'll see that the second and third outfits are lighter than the one for George's christening.

Also the details of the lace are more visible IMHO against the fabric of her outfits.

Perfect look for the raf celebration. Her hair is flattering and the large brooch and diamond earring with low chignon very elegant

She looks quite nice in her dress..comfortable/casual.

That dress is a perfect for a woman who gave birth a few months ago and still has a bit of a baby tummy! She looks absolutely wonderful!

Kate looks fresh and lovely.
Her simple dress is perfect for Wimbledon.

She looks very pretty in this dress and , I agree, perfect for a new Mum.

The dress is ok, but I think black shoes would have been better.
