She looks lovely in those dresses. As to Zara.. yes it is affordable.. if one can fit in those dresses :(
They are not suitable for tall dutch ladies. I am 6 foot , my weight is normal but I don't even fit in a size 46!!! ( size 18 ... and usually I can wear 12 of 14) I have given up on Zara.

Not to be rude, but I wonder what you consider a normal size because Zara isn't more or less abnormal in sizing than any other big retailer, like H&M or Mango.

Loving her Zara dresses. They all work really well for her.

(..) I would love either one of the pieces Catherine wore in the last few weeks. They look lightweight, summary and well fitted.

The Duchess of Cambridge in a Alexander McQueen dress at the christening of Prince Louis today, July 9:

** Upper part **

The Duchess REALLY does #FortiesStyle exceptionally well...

Not sure about the headpiece, it looks like a kokoshnik and I love it (I actually hope to see some ladies wear these kokoshnik like headpiece) but I am also not sure that is it suitable for church events as while I admire such design I sometimes found it a bit exaggerated and sometimes costume like.

Like the headpiece, but from what I have seen of the rest of the ensemble, it isn’t to my taste. Looks like a V-neck version of her Trooping outfit which I also found to be dated.

I am amazed at how she can make McQueen look so...unMcQueen.

I also do not like this hair style on her. It also is super aging to me.

But, she lights up when she looks at her new son and that is what wins that day.

Kate looks lovely.
At first, I wasn't sure about the hat, but the more I look at it the better I like it.
It's different.

She most definitely does. Some of her best looks have been in a 40s style. While I always find that she looks stunning in retro type looks, that particular style era seems to be not only one of her favorites but one with clothes simply made for her.

Very elegant and classic vibe to the outfit ,the hat and colour too are lovely on the duchess!

Love the headpiece, repeat dress I believe? Wish she’d worn something new.

I like everything except that headpiece. It is ugly.

She looks very nice, love the headpiece, it adds interest.

Kate looks lovely. The only thing I'm not sold on are the puffed shoulders - the dress would look much better without them. Her hat is on point though and I love her updo. She looks really elegant today.

I like it just fine, but I guess she's bringing back puffed sleeves? Kinda 80s looking.

Agree the headpiece is lovely and the cream is so flattering on her she looks really marvellous

She sticks to the creamy colours for her kid’s christenings.

I adore the Kokoshnik style headpiece. A Kokoshnik variation is almost always a good idea. The dress is on the matronly side for me, but her smile is dazzling. She lights up the room lately.

The dress is a little on the boring side, but it fits her well. The headpiece, it's lovely from the front, but a little odd for me from the side (have no idea why I think that, but I do). Regardless of what she is wearing, her smile says it all and the love she has for her children trumps anything that she is wearing today.

I agree. Her figure certainly suits that era. Again a lovely cream shade for her children's christenings. I love today's headpiece and find that it is very flattering. An elegant low bun keeps her hair away from exploring fingers too. ;)

The headpiece reminds me of the type women wore in Tudor England. The dress is fine.

I might be in the minority here but I actually quite like Catherine's headpiece, it's pretty and goes well with her dress (which I thought was a repeat of the dress at Charlotte's christening but I then read somewhere that it's new).

I like the headpiece too. It's different, but I think it really suits her.

I think she looks great, very chic and pulled together (which for a mommy with three little ones is an achievement in itself!)

I agree. I think it's a great shape for her face, but I would have preferred if it had been a real hat (a pillbox variation, I guess) that just had that shape in the front. As it is, the proportions of her head look strange in the side view because that headband is sticking up high, and is kind of wide, but then things just drop off sharply.

I can't decide what I think of its texture. At one glance I like it, at another I think it's too much fussiness to have that heavy basketweave next to all the flowers.

The dress is really good for her, though. I'm not generally a fan of puffed shoulders, but she wears them pretty well.
