When Albert was alone, he danced with his sisters (Caroline or Stephanie). Now he has a fiancée, he dances with her.It would be unusual to see Albert dancing with Stephanie,

Isn't this the first year the trio haven't attended?

I wish Charlene would learn to wear a bra I find it distasteful to always see her nipples showing through the clothes she wears. She could look classy in some of the dresses she wears if it wasn't for that.
 
Why should she wear a bra when her new breasts stand up on their own, i agree also that her teeth are so unnaturally white. She looks well beyond her 32 years in my opinion, but she seems happy, and it looks like Albert does love her.
 
In one of the photos it looked like Ernest's mother.

I feel really embrassed even to look at Stephanie, the dress barely covers
her front, looks x-rated and cheap.

Okay, Princess Stephanie's dress may not have been the most appropriate choice for the occasion, but I think she looks awesome! A women her age with nearly grown children has no business looking that fantastic in such a revealing dress.

this is second year in a row that Charlene outfit look good why is Stephine and her sister seems to loose their fashion sense if they are trying to let it go so Charlene can be the fairest i guess job done. i am so disappointed at Stephine why why that ugly dress you are born princess act like one...:angry:
 
Hi, thank you for this great display of photos. I love Charlene's elegant dress. And I want to comment on Prince Albert, for sure he looks radiant, happy and very much "engaged" Good for him!
 
Stephanie never had fashion sense. She was young and wild and she looked good or at least acceptable in what she wore. Now, she looks ridiculous. Tawdry!
 
i just saw the photo of them dancing it look good i never know that Charlene is taller than Albert seeing the photo she is probably 5'11 or 6 foot. anyway i would love to see Caro and her kids maybe she is just step back so Charlene can take over since it will be official after July 9 2011.:sleep:

Regards Stephanie, she is who she is, either you accept her or you don't. I like the color of her dress. In fact, when I first saw her in it I had a flashback to Charlotte Casiraghi's outstandingly beautiful dress earlier this year at the Rose Ball ~ same color & fabric ~ for style though I prefer Charlotte's.

If Stephanie covered her cleavage more, and also lowered the length of the hem of her dress to cover her knees, I would love the dress. I do like the color & fabric though, as I stated earlier. :)

Exactly! CW's teeth were irregular and stained, undoubtedly from nicotine. Should she have left them like that??!:bang:

As for the other "touchups".. she is hardly the only female in Royal Europe who has had some work done recently...far from it. ;)

CW looks as close to perfect now as is possible..good for her. In about a year she will be the public face of the most glamorous spot on Earth...the French Riviera!

Here's my thoughts overall after looking at the photos:
Charlene: LOVE that Dress...get rid of the fake tan, unnaturally white teeth, and you'd be fine. Stop trying to be a Grace or Charlize Theron clone , and just be Charlene for everyone's sakes.
Steph: Really. Seriously?! pretty...but not for the occasion.
Nicole: Hi. WHAT?!?! At least she and PA are being amicable with each other-even if it's for Alexandre's sake. HATE that dress. With an undying passion.

Sad not to see any of the De Massy clan or Caro or the Casiraghi's. Disapointing. Maybe they all feel now that PA is getting married they can all back off entirely and let PA and Charlene run things on their own without everyone else around. Who knows.....
 
The Casiraghis have never been to the Red Cross Ball in July/Aug. They only attend the Rose Ball in the spring.
 
Charlene looks wonderful compared to everyone else. They all look so orange! Bit disapponting that there weren't that many "wow" dresses IMO. Charlene's earrings are to die for. It appears she is begining to find her style and from the last couple of official functions, she hasn't put a foot wrong with her fashion choices. Could this mean a return of elegance to Monaco that seems to be missing? Stephanie's dress is just awful, which is a shame.
 
Charlene really looks elegant compared to her previous appearances. Stephanie, oh well, striking gown and her new developments... :p I wish Caroline had come and her children...

Charlene has proved that she is more fit to be a princess than Stephanie. I have a strange feeling Mabel, Laurentien and Stephanie give each other fashion advice!

Even though I have watched several royal families (especially the Grimaldis) since my teens, I have never followed them closely, only in passing. I might buy a book or two, but I have never kept scrapbooks on them nor do I purchase royal magazines or anything of that nature. Thus, why my knowledge is most likely lacking when compared to others. Though I have to admit the internet is a terrific source of reference. *smile*

Regards Princess Caroline, yes, sadly, I concur. :( I'm sad for me, but happy for her, as she deserves to lessen up on all her HSH duties. Considering what an admirable job she has done since her mother's death in 1982 (28 yrs. ago), I can see how happy she must be to finally have someone else take over as First Lady of Monaco (aka Miss Wittstock). Now she can relax a bit and stay in the shadows, hopefully appearing every now & then for family functions, eventually retiring when she's her aunt Princess Antoinette's age. As for her children, she herself never wanted to be a Princess, thus her reason for not giving her children any titles, so that they could live like ordinary folk. Therefore, I also expect to see less & less of her magnificent children as the years go by. Ah well, so it begins... :sad:
 
I'm glad Caroline didn't attend this year: such a display of very bad taste, especially from Stephanie, why keep her new 'balcony' in view like that?

You are right, take a close look at royals around Europe and you'll see lots of dental improvements and other enhancements.
 
In 5 years we will hardly recognize CW. I suppose she was not glad with her image.

His name is Alexandre. Not Eric. It was originally Eric, I think, until Nicole changed it in 2003? 2004? when she changed hers. His full name is Alexandre Eric Stephane Coste.

This year ball was just sad. A lot of tacky dressed woman. Of course Victoria S. looks vulgar like always.
Last year I was disappointed by the ball, especially by those blue topless dancers. This years no nudity ;), decoration is very nice-wonder if anyone paid attention.
But what makes this ball less than exciting are guests and how they dressed. Red Cross Ball is losing its glamour. :sad:

I really don't want to argue, but I think the war just started. Based on Nicole's past actions and her recent charity activities I believe she just started a indirect media war with Charlene. NC is here because everyone can come here-it was not invitation ball, everyone could buy a ticket-$1000 or something.

BTW, Charlene dress was really nice, same as her hair and make up. It looks like they (Monaco PR) treat her image seriously because she looks good in pics recently. But she still has problem with pulling this all together- proof: wet bottom of her dress. She probably can't carry a dress with train.

Stephanie was just looking horrible. She looked as if she just came back from performing a show in Las Vegas.:eek:

It is a second Red Cross Ball in the row without Caroline.:sad: Monaco needs her, especially at such occasions.
