If PA invited Nicole I'm glad. The ball was boring and no excitement at all. PS look like she didn't want to be there. CW think it all about her. PA just was there.

Why not? If she likes it. CW has done everything possible in her face; if she could, she would do anything possible in her body, because, really, there´s no dress that can fit her.

I think Stephanie looks very much Caroline in that dress.
 
Stephanie has magnificent legs-just like Caroline-but she spent waaay too much time in the sun, and damaged her skin with cigarette smoke...also like Caroline. :sad:

Her body type is similar to CW's. I understand having one's breasts lifted and enhanced after reaching a certain age, but Stephanie appears to have gone a little overboard.

And that dress looks like something a drag queen would wear...not a good night for the Princess at all. :ermm:

CW's otherwise flawless appearance was marred by the soaking of the hem of her gown...how the hell did that happen??
 
They both look wonderfully happy. I am looking forward to their wedding next July. Charlene will be wonderful for Monaco, Prince Albert has chosen someone he loves and Princess Grace would have loved her too I am sure.

Charlene is dignified and elegant and has never behaved badly unlike some other members of the Monaco family.

I really liked Charlene's dress, and really disliked Stephanie's even though the dress is totally her style. It's visible that Princess Stephanie had plastic cirurgy on her breasts, while Charlene had some work also done on her face, recently when I was watching some old and new photos of her I realize that she done something to her breasts, they defenitly look bigger.

WOW! Charlene is looking more beautiful each time I see her dressed for a very elegant occasion. I liked everything, her dress is simple but so elegant (beige is a pretty color for her), the jewelry is gorgeous (the earrings are driving me crazy combined with the bracelet and ring), her makeup and hair made her look so strikingly beautiful. She has turned into a swan and to becoming one of the most photographed women in the world. I cannot say the same for Princess Stephanie. She needs to improve her choices just like Charlene has done. Prince Albert and Charlene seem to be happy and in love. They will make very good host and hostess as Princes of Monaco, I do believe that. Charlene has come a long way and I'm pleased with her transformation.:)
 
The more I look at the pictures, the more I think Charlene was the best dressed and the most beautiful at the gala.

I think if Charlene can get the "royal treatment" in terms of having stylists, make-up artists and haridressers, why can't Stephanie. Stephanie is a born royal who grew up royal and she is looking worse for wear, though i think she's cool. As far as Charlene's dress wardrobe, in my opinion she looks best in dresses that don't cover her arms and shoulders as she is much wider than the average woman.
 
Don't get me wrong, I hope to look half as fit/toned as Stephanie when I am 45 years old! However when I am 45, I hope to be dressing a little more age appropriate, instead of trying to look like I am 20! Charlene is 13 years younger than Stephanie and shows so much more class and style in her dressing. IMO, it seems like Stephanie needs some attention!

To the poster who said the trio never attend, yes they have but not in the last couple of years. When Caroline shows up so do they. When she doesn't, they don't either.
 
The more I look at Stephanie's dress the more I soften toward it...it's the top part with those straps and that tacky cleavage which sinks it!

Stephanie is Stephanie. No one can EVER accuse this woman of being phony or untrue to herself.

As for Caroline's children, I always love to see them, they are so delicious.:p But they were at the Rose Ball and the Grand Prix...and will probably be at the Fete Nationale in November...perhaps they feel that they have done their "bit" for Uncle Albert already and don't want to interrupt their summer holidays?

Same as Princess Caroline...in addition to the Rose Ball she was also at the St Jean Feast...she and her children maybe want to cede the spotlight to Albert and his fiancee?

The wonderful thing about this family is that no matter what is going on behind the scenes, they pull it all together in public...and has anyone else noticed that there is ALWAYS someone on hand to help Albert..if not Stephanie then it's Caroline or her children. And don't forget Aunt Antoinette and the Levine cousins.

So their absence last night doesn't bother me that much.
 
Charlene demostrated at the Red Cross Ball that she is entirely ready to become Princess of Monaco - looking forward to next years event when she will be the leading lady
 
I understand that Stephanie has always been daring and sensual.

But for a prestigious event in her principality, this dress is plain inappropriate.

First and foremost, it is poorly made -- the puckerings are evident, and the fit is bad with her left boob especially squashed.

Second, it seems like she is not even confident in it. She has always had an unconventional fashion sense, but there was that particular confidence especially in her younger years that made her look comfortable and therefore appropriate. For me, she did not seem confident and comfortable in it.

If the event were the Rose Ball and the chosen theme was intergalactic disco (hehe), this dress might be forgivable. But perhaps on Alice Dellal or Mlle Borromeo.

Stephanie is her unequivocal self and no comment on PA.
 
Well, now Charlene looks like The Princess of Monaco! She looked lovely, elegant, beautiful.
Stephanie, on the other hand...well, i don't know why she has chosen that dress. The fact that she has the body of a 20 or 30 year old woman doesn't mean she can wear dresses like one. Specially showing almost all as she did.
I would have love to see Caroline and children there, but, i expected them not to be there.

NC is here because everyone can come here-it was not invitation ball, everyone could buy a ticket-$1000 or something.

BTW, Charlene dress was really nice, same as her hair and make up. It looks like they (Monaco PR) treat her image seriously because she looks good in pics recently. But she still has problem with pulling this all together- proof: wet bottom of her dress. She probably can't carry a dress with train.

Stephanie was just looking horrible. She looked as if she just came back from performing a show in Las Vegas.:eek:

It is a second Red Cross Ball in the row without Caroline.:sad: Monaco needs her, especially at such occasions.

I am pretty sure Ms Wittstock got her nose, breast and teeth worked on. She looks very good in a Grace Kelly way. I sure hope that this is all Charlene has to do to to her appearance to become the next Princess of Monaco. I wonder if it was Prince Albert or herself that wanted the transformation? I looked at photos of her in 2006 and thought she was a pretty girl.

Wikipedia said that she converted to Roman Catholicism, speaks Monegasque and French language. I think she has been very busy transforming in a royal these last four years. I think the couple had a understanding of marriage sine Ms Wittstock's move to Monaco in 2006.:flowers:
 
For the sake of Nicole and her dignity, I hope she does not try to launch some silly media war/competition with CW...what would be the point?

CW will be Princesse de Monaco, and eventually mother to the Heir. Magazines will want CW on their covers, charities will want HER patronage, CW will attend foreign visits, etc...not Nicole.

Nicole can't win this one and she shouldn't even try. Why not concentrate on the most important thing of all...raising her beautiful boy to be a most magnificent man...giving him all the advantages and privacy possible?

THAT would be quite an accomplishment and more worthy of her than some pointless, sour grapes obsession with CW..if that is what it is. :ermm:
 
I would take the CW resume that is currently on Wikipedia with a grain of salt IMO.

I would certainly concur that she has been transforming herself but of course its up for discussion on what she has been doing and if the beauty part is enough to make to sustain her as Princess of Monaco.

I for one don't think she is trying to turn herself into a clone of Grace, that would be pretty ill advised. But when you are a tall blond with short hair, who else can one look like. Even Charlize Theron who doesn't physically look like Grace has been called a Grace Kelly clone.

Personally I don't care what she did before next July as long as it wasn't criminal but after the 11th she will have to do more than look pretty.

And regarding Stephanie's clothes, I also agree that its not age appropriate. Stephanie is a very attractive woman, and I am not going to lie, I am in my 40's and I wish I had her body type. And not to sound like a fuddy duddy, but there are ways older woman can look sexy and sophisticated without showing everything but that is just my opinion.

It would have been nice if Caroline and her family could have been in attendance, but if I am correct in the past its just been Albert and Stephanie. And whether some like it or not, this is the future of Monaco. Caroline will have to secede her position as First Lady, and I personally think she welcomes it.

There are several posts referring to Charlene's new nose. Are there any photos of her nose in profile from before the supposed change? From the front the nose looks the same as early on in their relationship.

If it- conversion- had happened wouldn't it be in the public domain already?Something official would have been written about such a high profile individual.Many things about CW are not confirmed or denied .....
The designer of Charlene's beige gown for the ball was Armani- a sketch is on her Facebook page.
 
Stephanie does look good for a woman in 40's but her dress is over the top she needs something more settle.Charlene was certainly showning the world she is ready to become the Princess of Monaco and it's First Lady elegance and class is what she had last night.
Nicole what in the world was she doing there? I am happy that Albert and Charlene did not let her get to them and try to start some problems.And finally Caroline for the 2 straight year she has not shown up to this huge event I hope atleast next year she will be present to support just a great and worthy cause as this.
