The design works very well, the queen has worn it very well over the years.
I also wonder whether Queen Victoria’s Pearl Earrings belong to the Queen's personally (like Queen Mary's or Queen Mother's jewellery) or to the State (like Crown Estate) or Royal Collection Trust (personal and The Crown), as of 21st Century?
I could not find Queen Victoria’s Pearl Earrings in the Court Jeweller website either.
Yes hadn't thought of that ,the below article states that queen Victoria received them in 1847, and left them to the Crown following her death.

HM wore her Grima ruby brooch today for her first public engagement since March outside the royal palaces when she visited the DSLT at Porton Down.

Thanks Leo for the wonderful link. Ah yes the good old days where we could enjoy seeing two monarchs glittering in amazing jewels.
Queen Mary's Richmond broochWhat magnificent brooch was her majesty wearing at the funeral
I´m a it surprised she didn´t choose a brooch with a reference to the late Duke, a personal gift of his to her or something.
Still, a very impressive piece!
HM used the Onslow Ruby and Diamond butterfly brooch for recent online engagements.

The brooch, IMO, would do well in Camilla's collection of butterfly brooches. She already has an all diamond one, one with diamonds & sapphires and another one with diamonds & emeralds.
I didn't realize it was wedding present and had thought it a more recent addition.
Does anybody know which brooch she's wearing here?:
Couldn't seem to ID it on Jewel Vault.
Given how vast HM's collection of brooches is, I did not even remember the existence of this brooch till I read about it yesterday.
