I don't ever recall seeing pictures of QE2 in turquoise and diamond earrings. So I suspect Camilla has either found these in the vaults, bought / had a new pair made, or fashioned a pair out of some existing jewellery in the vault. I suspect we will never know the answer.

Yes it is. It was given to her by one of Maharajah Bhupinder Singh’s of Patiala wives.

I dislike the tiara. I was hoping she would debut Alexandra’s Kokoshnik tiara or the Grand Duchess Vladimir tiara. Hopefully she will not do what the Queen Mother did and refuse to wear either of those tiaras.
