I understand the Queen is in the Burmese ruby tiara tonight

I think it looks rather good worn a bit backwards and not so upright like QEII. used to wear it.

I agree, the tiara looks quite good on Queen Camilla.

I never liked that tiara on the late Queen but it works well with Queen Camilla’s hair

Her best tiara appearance since she became queen IMHO. Rubies really suit her.

She does look good in the rubies. But then again, she did look good in the Belgian sapphire necklace tiara as well!

What I am really trying to say is that over the years, she has learnt the art of placing the tiara correctly on her head, and that makes a big difference to the overall look.

Wow, I hated that tiara before but, while still no my fav, it looks 1000% better on Camilla. Bravo!

She looks amazing in the ruby tiara!

It works much better with Camilla's hair/placement.

Exquisite jewellery. So lovely to see her bring this tiara back with the wonderful ruby necklace and earrings.

I always have a soft spot for this tiara because of the bright red rubies. And Camilla has rocked this piece! And love the crown ruby necklace. Are those the same earrings from her ME ruby parure?

Beautiful! Was never a fan of this tiara, but QC makes this tiara look lovely

I was never a fan of this tiara either, and that is an understatement. But again Camilla makes me one. She did the same for the sapphire necklace-tiara. It just looks very good on her.

Let's hope she will debut the aquamarine tiara soon, which is my least favourite of the British collection, and maybe that will look good on her too.

Beautiful ! The rubies suit her hair and her face.

I find it hard to see her wearing the late Queen's tiaras even though I acknowledge she has every right to do so. I just wish she had eased into it a little more but I don't quite know how she could have gone about this...maybe kept with her usual ones Greville etc. for a little longer. Maybe there was never going to be a right time and it is up to the likes of me to adjust!! It does look good on her and perhaps easier than the "Girls".

I think QCamilla looks brilliant in the rubies and the sapphire tiaras; not so much the 'Girls which got lost in her hair IMO.

I'm hoping maybe in the next year or two she might wear the Vladimir pearl/emerald loop tiara.

I had hoped that Catherine might have the use of the Girls tiara as I think it looks better with darker hair.

That is correct, these are earrings from the second of the two ruby parures she has previously worn.

I agree, both the rubies and the sapphires looked wonderful on Queen Camilla. As regards the Girls, I would like to see her use the tiara again before I pass judgement, but I accept the wore it very differently from how QE2 used to, giving the tiara a very different look.

The GDVladimir tiara would be lovely. I am keen to see her in emeralds, and I think she would need a good pearl and diamond tiara.

I'm wonder what the Queen will do with Vladimir tiara. If she wears it tilted so much back the pearls or emeralds will probably get out of their frames and it will be a mess.
Now i'm waiting to see what she can do with the aquamarine monstrosity.

The angle might indeed be a problem for the Vladimir when worn with pearls. But I think the emeralds are larger then the apertures in the tiara, so they can be fixed in two ways: either dangling before, or behind the tiara. So there shouldn't be much of a problem when the emeralds are fixed in front.

Camilla angles the Greville a lot less than she has the other tiaras she has worn. Camilla may choose to not angle the GDV a huge amount. Catherine wore the Lovers Knot at quite an angle in Jordan.

Queen Margrethe's pearl poiree tiara has in the central part a comb like contruction on the backside so that the pearls remain in their frame. Not sure how it with the Lovers Knot tiara perhaps there is also something like this. But at the Vladimir tiara there is nothing as could be seen on pics showing it from the back.

The crown rubies are divine

The tiara is better more open frame as worn by Camilla.

It is refreshing to see the vaults open and more variation. I had feared Camilla might shy away from tiaras the Queen was associated with and stick to her favourite but I am pleased.

My thoughts too,it looks wonderful on Queen Camilla.

Break it down and remake it.

Or don't wear it.

Although it looked ok on QEii, I don't like it at all.

There must be some more tiaras in the vaults that we haven't seen; QC doesn't have to wear every single tiara the Late Queen wore. As we know, there were at least two tiaras in those mythical vaults, the ones Eugenie and Meghan wore, which were both really lovely tiaras and both of which deserve to be seen more.
