Prince Hashem of Jordan and Fahdah Abunayyan: 15 April 2006

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I would love to see her or to know how she looks but to be honest it is not that important , personally I want to know what kind of people she is ? and where she did complete her study ? and does she have a job or not ? any information about her more than what is her name .

by the way Tesaweer from any tribe she came from ?

Photo's

Anyone has Hashem and his wife's photo?

I am soo curious on how she looked like..

She is one lucky gal :)

It will happen...

We need to be patient in regard to news and pics of the new Princess.
When they become available I am sure we will see them posted here.

thanks,
Warren

Oh wow wow wow. I go on holiday for a week and I come back and Hashim's married! I am gobsmacked and a bit sad, but congratulations to them!:D

Oh so that's what the head clothing is called. I am an Arab and lived in Saudi Arabia for 10 years and I never even knew what it was called, never even bothered to know I guess, until now! lol

Has there been any announcement as to whether the JRF will hold a reception as they did for Hamzah? Even Haya and Ali's respective weddings were more publicised that Hashem's.

okay I dont speak Arabic so I had to look up the meaning of zifaf.
It is defined on one site, according to Islamic shariah, as "taking the bride to her new home" or "sending her off"
That is what's called the "Rukhsati" in Urdu in Indo-Pakistan. Thats when the bride leaves her parents' home to live with her husband.

I hope that'll put an end to any confusion.

Thanks for the explanation, Humera, I had been wondering what zifaf was as well.
So if the rukhsati has taken place, do you think she's going to make any public appearances in the next week or so?! After all Hashem has been seen out and about, so if they're going to have a honeymoon they appear to be delaying it, so perhaps she will be out soon as well.

Oh so that's what Zifaf meant. Hmm... So Prince Hashem would be taking her to Jordan or would he just take her to his own new residence in Saudi Arabia (if he even has one that is)? I just wish them all the happiness and blessings from Allah. :)

well according the link posted by hilal, the rukhsati/zifaf comment was in reference to Prince Hamzah's marriage, not Hashem's.
I dont know if Hashem has taken his bride home to Jordan or if she's still in SA.

This is what it says about Prince Hashem:

5) H.R.H. Prince Hashim bin al-Hussein. b. at the Royal Palace, Amman, 10th June 1981(s/o Queen Noor), educ. Fay Sch., Boston, Massachusetts, Meret Sch., Washington DC, and RMA Sandhurst. Cmsnd. 2nd-Lieut. Jordan Arab Army 14/8/2000. m. at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 8th January 2006 (nikah), H.R.H. Princess Fahdah Hashim, daughter of Muhammad bin Ibrahim b in Salman Abu Niyan.

Oh right, I see I jumped the gun a bit. Perhaps tey'll end up doing what Hamzah and Noor did, have the nikah and then a reception and then the rukhsati.

Dear Mahoogie, Little star, Humera and Nayeli 0016!
I thank the answer. I write my #130 message badly: Hamzah does not marry secondly, but that was officially ceremony.
I do not think that nikah ceremony = Katb al Kitab?
Engagement or marriage?

I'm from Saudi Arabia & I think I could help :)
Katb al Kitab is like an Engagement but little different;
When she get engaged that don’t really means that she get married
So many families don’t allowed to the man to see the girl until they get married
But Katb al Kitab means that she becomes his wife so he could see her any time
But she will not leave her parents house until she have a wedding

Thank you. It makes sense. I was getting very confused.....:) After the Katb al Kitab, they would be allowed to see one another whenever they want but are they chaperoned or are they allowed to be alone together--private conversations and dinners?

This is a dumb question I am sure, but is Hashim really married now? Or are they still engaged and in the Katb al Kitab stage?

I don't know how to answer your question  Loooool

no seriously , if they follow the custom she is his wife just on paper so it is like engagment , in the katb al kitab stage she can't live with him in the same house etc ..... , he can see her in her family house or if her family don't mind they can go out to restaurant for example

by the way I don't think you asked a dumb question I hope I didn't give you a dumb answer

i think they are still in the Katb al Kitab stage
she is his wife now , he could see her any time
some families give him the right of taking her out for few hours , usually to a restaurant because it is the most appropriate place here
but as I mentioned before she will still live in her family house

but that will change when the got married?so they will have such a wedding ceremony soon - and then he can take her to jordan and can live with her there?

thanks for explaining this all - helps much to understand.:)

Maybe:)
I think that , but no body really knows ;)

you r welcome : )

He has turned into a looker! I hope they are happy together and wish them the best, lets hope any kids they have take after their daddy ;) :)

Congrats to the couple, I wish the JRF would be more European and broadcast their marriages and officially state engagements and such to inform the public, after all they aren't private citizens right? But thats just my opinion, and how simple a situation like this would be.
