The Prince of Asturias offered several receipts during today in the Palace of the Zarzuela. Don Felipe received the members of the Patronage of the Foundation that takes the name of his grandfather, don Juan de Borbón, the notaries' last promotion (in the image) and the plenary session of the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Cuenca.

The Prince of Asturias, president of Honor de la Fundación don Juan de Borbón, expressed yesterday his personal commitment with the activity that develops this cultural Segovian entity that remembers the figure of his paternal grandfather, in a hearing that developed in the Palace of the Zarzuela, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Foundation.
The mayor of Segovia, Pedro Arahuetes, who headed the Segovian delegation in his president's quality of the Patronage of the Foundation, he underlined the interest showed by don Felipe by this institution, assuring that the Inheritor has demonstrated his will to attend next summer someone of the actions of the International Festival of Segovia (FIS), organized by the entity.
Also the Prince of Asturias might represent, as indicated the mayor of Segovia to the press at the conclusion of the hearing, which extended for space of a half hour, to the delivery of the first edition of the International Prize don Juan de Borbón, an award that will centre on the area of the music.

The representatives of the Foundation don Juan de Borbón took advantage of the hearing to deliver a few gifts to don Felipe for his first-born one, the infanta Leonor, concretly a rattle of silver and a few elaborated little angels artesanalmente for the nuns Dominicans who represent three graces, Kindness, Prudence and Wisdom.
The mayor of Segovia affirmed that the Prince " has liked the gifts, I believe that he has seen them as something very tender, because the truth is that whenever he speaks about his daughter one notices that he is a doting father; he is like all the parents, that us the slobber is fallen by our children ".
Pedro Arahuetes added that don Felipe de Borbón also estimated the gift that has done the Foundation to him on the occasion of his recent birthday, the work " picturesque Segovia ", of Jose Maria de Avrial, who reproduces images of the Segovia of middle of the 19th century. (...)

She didn't attent this act, the same happend the previous week. I'm curious why, since La Zarzuela is 1 km away from the Princes' residence so she wouldn't be far away and too long from Leonor. Maybe Casa Real wants her to return to activities slowly and attent only important ones. The rest papa Felipe can do.

MADRID, (24 EUROPE PRESS) the Cabinet today approved Real Decrees individual in which he authorizes Prince de Asturias, Don Felipe de Borbón, to represent Spain in the takings of possession of the new president of Portugal, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, and of the new president of Chile, Michelle Bachelet. Cavaco Silva will be invested like president with the Republic with Portugal next the 9 with March, whereas Bachelet becomes two days later, the 11 of March, in Head of State in Chilean history.

The Prince will travel to Chile without the princess Letizia

The prince of Asturias will travel next weekend to Chile to be present at the capture of possession of the elect chairwoman, Michelle Bachelet. Dona Letizia will not accompany him in this displacement due to the briefness of the stay and the duration of the trip, as well as to her desire to remain together with her daughter. For ten years, don Felipe attends all the presidential reliefs of Latin America and Portugal. Dona Letizia has accompanied don Felipe in the captures of possession of the current presidents of Panama, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay. A trip to Chile is very long, it is very good that she will not go and stay with her daughter. That kind of trip is too short and too busy for taking the little baby with them.

Next week has many acts, on Monday they will go to Barcelona, on Tuesday they have an act in Madrid, later Portugal and Chile. It is normal, that do not want to leave the alone girl so much time. Till now only they have left her one night, if Letizia was to Chile they would be two or three days without her parents.
The act of Chile, it coincides with a day of mourning with Spain, the second anniversary of 11M; the Kings will be present on the 10th at a commemorative concert, and still it is not known if there will be any more acts.

Prince of Asturias accepts to be perpetual mayor of San Roque

The mayor indicates that the Real House is had it jeopardize to answer on the request of visit of some member of same the acts of commemoration of the Third Centenary san roque.
The mayor of San Roque, Jose Vázquez, received yesterday the confirmation of the Real House of which Prince of Asturias Don Felipe accepts the appointment like perpetual mayor of the city.
This appointment was in the heat of approved policeman at the end of the last year, and it only reduced the acceptance on the part of the House of the King.

Agenda of the Prince Felipe in Chile

Day 10 of March,

Prince de Asturias will land in the Airport the International "Commodore Arturo Merino Benítez" of Santiago of Chile in the morning of day 10.
Next he will be transferred to the residence of the ambassador of Spain in Chile, where an encounter with the Spanish colectivity will be celebrated. Once finalized, the Prince will go to the Palace of the Currency to meet with the salient President, Ricardo Lakes.
Later, Don Felipe to the residence of the ambassador of Spain will return to share a lunch with Chilean personalities.
In the evening, the Prince will interview with the elect President, Michelle Bachelet, in the Diplomatic academy.
The activities of Friday will conclude with the visit of the Prince to the Exhibition of Mexican Art and Chilean Crafts, and his attendance to the supper offered by the President Lakes and his wife to the Government and attending Chiefs of State to the taking of possession of the new President in the Palace of the Currency.

Saturday, 11 of March,

The Ceremony of Transmission of the Presidential Control in the Hall Honor of the National Congress of Valparaiso will be celebrated. Next, President Bachelet will compliment to the Government and Chiefs of State with a lunch in the Presidential Hill Palace Castle in Vine of the Sea.
After the lunch, the Prince will return to Spain.

A day before the awaited ceremony of hand over of command, prince Felipe de Asturias arrived, after the 9:00 in the morning to the international airport Arturo Merino Benítez.
After saluting to the retinue that waited for it in the aerial terminal, the heir of the Spanish crown said to feel honest to return to step on Chilean territory.
"I am glad to return to Chile, heading the Spanish delegation. It is an honor for me to be present in these days in which Chile celebrates the democracy with the hand over of presidential command. I bring a support message, of much spirit and of all our support of the government of Spain for the new mandate of President Michelle Bachelet ", the son of kings Juan declared Carlos and Sofía.
