As a side note, it's interesting that King Albert's grandchildren follow the tradition (that dates back to King Christian IX!) to call their grandfather Apapa. Also the late King Constantine II of Greece was called like that by his grandchildren

Queen Paola (87) has fallen. She injured her foot and must now rest for four weeks. That is why she cannot accompany King Albert (90) to King's Day in Brussels next Friday.

Koningin Paola gevallen en moet vier weken rusten

Koningin Paola (87) is gevallen. Ze heeft zich daarbij geblesseerd aan haar voet en moet nu vier weken rust houden. Daarom kan ze volgende week vrijdag koning Albert (90) niet vergezellen naar Koningsdag in Brussel.
