Published a 10-03-2006 11:30:25

Day before the awaited ceremony of assumption of president Michelle Bcahelet, the prince of Asturias, Felipe de Borbón, arrived at the international airport Arturo Merino Benítez. I am glad to return to Chile, heading the Spanish delegation. " It is an honor for me to be present in these days in which Chile celebrates the democracy with the hand over of presidential command". I bring a support message, of much spirit and of all our support of the government of Spain for the new mandate of President Michelle Bachelet, the son of kings Juan declared Carlos and Sofía. The husband of princess Letizia showed his gratitude, esteem and friendship towards President Ricardo Lagos, of that emphasized their profits in the fortification of the bilateral relations with Spain.

Not who is, the photo does not identify her.
Possibly be the wife of some Latin-American president, or probably some relative of Ricardo Lagos (with whom the Prince always has had very good relation). There are several similar photographies of the same act but with other prominent figures. For the Spanish and for the Latin ones it is something very normal, though probably in other cultures it is stranger. These persons coincide often and have a very narrow relation.

Welcome on forum moonstardoll!:)The Princess disn't come with Felipe probably due to the fact they had busy week and baby Leonor stood too long alone so they, after travel to Portugal and another night without the daughter, didn't want to leave her again. What is more, the flight to Chile is very long so it was no use taking Leonor with them.

Dad, dad, closes the eyes ... congratulations!

In house of the Borbón-Ortiz today it will not be a Sunday anyone. The prince Felipe has a motive, the infanta Leonor, to celebrate San Jose, his first Day of the Father. As him, millions of anonymous dads will be today the kings of the house with the permission of his children. Though the smallest have a very active participation in this holiday, besides persons in charge of the celebration, they are the creators of the most original and emotive gifts.
