The day has come.
The very latest update says definitely rain at Amalienborg at noon. The wind is west, so the DRF should perhaps prepare an umbrella or two when out on the balcony.
It will of course be interesting to see whether the DRF will appear on balcony at QMII's residence, or M&F's residence. My bet says QMII, she is after all hosting the whole show.
BB has a liveblog here:

BT will probably also start a liveblog soon.
DR1 has started their coverage. I actually don't think you need a login to watch this, because this is from the news segments. Would you mind try and check?

The better quality coverage is here, requiring a login:

(See the simple guide in how to get a login in a previous post of mine.)
- All three will go live to Amalienborg around 11.45 at the latest. That's in 1½ hours after this is posted.
What happens is that the relieving watch of the Royal Lifeguard Regiment will march in on the square with the marching band who will play various tunes.
At noon the balcony doors will open and hurrah!
QMII will usually call for nine cheers for Denmark - 9X hurrah.
Then the band will play a song, usually the children's birthday song which everybody in DK knows by heart so people will sing along.
Then the DRF members will walk inside, but traditionally the crowd will chant: Christian, Christian, Come on out. Or we will never go home.
That happens about two or three times.

- The press has as always gone into overdrive!
When our dog was walking me earlier this morning, we were chased back home by hordes of howling journalists, who wanted us wish Christian well on his B-day, sing a song in his honor or offer advise.
I bet if I say something really deep like: "After winter comes Spring." It would end up on TV.
(Win a prize for guessing what movie that is a quote from.
It's Welcome, Mr. Chance.)
