To the time The Queen died, I doubt very much she knew that the couple had a photographer following them and documenting their lives for a reality tv show in her home.
The Queen did nothing about this serious and appalling breach of safety and protocol because the breach took place after she had died. The breach wasn’t taking the photos.
We can be assured many hundreds or thousands such photos exist of the Wales couple and Their Majesties, and did of The Queen and Phillip. These behind-the-scenes moments are documented for posterity. The classmates of George’s grandchildren will see them in textbooks.
The breach here is posting these photographs without authorization. And we don’t have to guess what The Queen would have done, because Eugenie once did exactly the same thing on a MUCH smaller scale, posting a picture of her father on his way to a royal duty inside a royal residence. She shared that The Queen reprimanded her and asked her to take it down immediately because it is out of order to publicly share a photo taken of a member of the family in a royal residence.
Unless we are now suggesting that actually it was The Queen who made this deal with Netflix and it was her dying wish for this documentary to be released after she died while the Wales couple were touring, which I am sure will be the suggestion by December 8 from those hoping to explain away the Sussex couple’s appalling behavior.
