The little prince is not only adorable but so well behaved. He isn't even two, and handling it like a little pro.
 
I am beginning to see more and more of his father in the little boy. He is soo cute...in fact the entire family is a dream!:whistling:

As Countessmeout out, the little prince is preternaturally serene and poised for a baby.....
 
His mom was smart and brought a football for him to the meeting with the prime minister.

I am wondering actually if the ball was a gift from the PM to the little prince. The prince got a few gifts, including from the president.


It looks in one photo like the Prime minister was giving him the ball. Or maybe the prince was just showing off his sharing skills :cool:

Aw, little Jigme is so professional already! He's a little star, and a very cute one at that. ?
 
He is so cute!!! Lovely child!!! Can't wait for him to have a sibling and play together! It will be cuteness overload!!

On December 17, Bhutan celebrates National Day, commemorating the day on which His Majesty King Ugyen Wangchuck became the first hereditary monarch of Bhutan in 1907.
This month’s calendar, based on an illustration by artist Chimi R Namgyel, of His Majesty Druk Gyalpo Ugyen Wangchuck, the First King of Bhutan.

He is almost 23 months, his second birthday is on February 5.
I just spent Christmas with a cousin, her son will be 2 on January 14th and he behaves much like the little prince.

I'm horrible with baby ages and personalities. I work with 4yr olds whose personalities and behaviors range from 6 mos to 10yrs.

The King attend today at the final day of the Khandro Kongshag Tshechu, held triennially at the Tsakaling Nagtshang in Mongar. The Tshechu, during which unique dances of the Peling tradition are performed, is not only a sacred event, but also one where the intangible cultural heritage of Bhutan is preserved.
The King met with people from the neighboring areas who came to attend the festival.

Thank you for the photos and information :flowers: I find them so beautiful, and I am always fascinated by the culture.

Interesting to see a ceremony hosted every three years. Not a common number.
