Daniel's friend Alexander Stubb, the President of Finland, swam on July 20 a 24 km downhill swim in Oulanka River, Kuusamo. They swam in pairs, he swam with his friend, and two bodyguards swam beside them. His wife Suzanne swam 12 km with her friend.

On July 21 Alexander and his wife Suzanne hiked 12 km in Kuusamo with former Formula 1 -driver Heikki Kovalainen.

Daniel's friend Peter "Foppa" Forsberg has been Synsam's ambassador since autumn 2023.
Peter and Synsam took the next step in their collaboration when the former ice hockey star launched his first own eyewear collection under the name Peter Forsberg™.
Peter has worn glasses since he was a teenager, and his close collaboration with Synsam therefore feels natural. The collection contains 28 models, both eyeglasses and sunglasses.

Daniel's friend Peter "Foppa" Forsberg is an expert at Viaplay's new morning show about the NHL.
- It feels great with Viaplay's new show "Good morning NHL!" I am really excited to step back into the expert role. Then it will also be exciting to get close to the NHL again, a league that I have fond memories of, says Foppa.
The morning program will be broadcast for one hour every Monday and Friday.

Madeleine's friend Oscar Engelbert took in 2012 over his family's company AB Heribert Engelbert, which manufactures exclusive jewelry. The brand has been a favorite of the Royal Family, Engelbert is also Purveyor to the Royal Court.
Now Oscar has been forced to give up his family's jewelry company, recently through a foreclosure, Expressen tells.
The new owner is the King and Queen's friend Per Taube. It is he and his company Gelda who bought all 4,000 shares from Engelbert and are now the owners of the company.
- We have been surprised and quite happy about it. We have no need to promote it. It was not the idea that we would own it. It was the effect of a mortgage realization, says Per Taube.
According to the company's new CEO, no major changes will be made with AB Heribert Engelbert.
