Looks to be a yellow diamond ring, to match her outfit?
To me it looks like a yellow sapphire ring - something in this direction: https://www.langantiques.com/12-03-...sapphire-and-diamond-art-deco-style-ring.html
Maybe a gift to Pr. Louis birth???

I have a question to you all about DOC's jewelry collection, because while I admire it, I truly don't know much about it. Do we know if there is a piece that was gifted to her by the Queen? Not loaned, but gifted?
I did start there, but they only have a section of loaned jewelry and not things DOC's owns. There are lots of great sites that trace her jewelry. Maybe start with From Her Majesty's Jewel Vault (the Kate loans section), What Kate Wore, My small Obsessions. There are many more that are equally good, these are just the three I have known the longest.
