What the heavens is going on here totally the worse I have seen her and it just keeps getting worse. The shoes should be in the bin.... the dress is well just so boring and I am in total awe of her that she could look so un-put -together so often. She is really starting to annoy me......

I'm wondering if she chooses her ornaments herself or someone advises her... Anyway whoever likes shoes and tacky jewels like that isn't good at fashion...:whistling:

Those green shoes look like a pair my Grandmother wore in the Sixties and they need to go or worn in private around the house. Maxima's outfit at the MS event would have looked fine if her skirt wasn't so tight.:flowers:

What the hell is she wearing?! The shoes look horrible, as does the necklace (although I like that both have the same colours).
I don't like the cut of the dress, either.

Maxima's face and hair - pretty. The rest - fail. Though the dress is not that bad, its cut is totally unflattering for Maxima.
The shoes are ugly, so is this necklace.

The dress and necklace are fine, the shoes not so fine.

Is she using Mabel or Laurentien's stylist now? For starters, those shoes look like they don't fit her feet at all, and are too narrow. The color, fabric and overall style of the shoes is also atrocious. A woman, as a rule, should not wear gray pantyhose. It's horribly unflattering and besides, the only time a woman's hose should match her dress/skirt is if it's black. The dress around the waist looks totally unflattering, I don't like the bunching/ruching/whatever it's called. Her hair looks flat and lifeless. The necklace is interesting, but should have been saved for something less boring and dull.

She gets a D+ from me for this.

Those shoes must go, they're hideous IMO but a lovely color.

The shoes look like they don't fit- only thing I did like was the necklace.... to bad because she is so pretty and when she gets it right she looks amazing!

That is an understatement. If she is doing her own styling she is failing miserably. :flowers:

I hate to keep saying this because the subject of Maxima's fashion/hair/makeup is like this :deadhorse: but seriously she should've employed a stylist. She needs a little help. I know I shouldn't be bothered but it bugs me that she probably receives the largest annual salaries of all the princesses and look how she shows up half of the time.

I really have no issues with what Maxima wears so long as she doesn't start wearing clothes that are too young for her. Extreme mini dresses/skirts with so much cleavage like some of the women you see on The Real Housewives franchise.

Her fashion sense may not be as elegant as Mary's or Caroline's but she's Maxima and her style makes her the woman she is.

Sassy I totally agree this is all to much and am wondering do I make a New Year's resolution to not read thsi thread it's too much some days. It draws me in though like a moth to the flame I don't want to look but I can't help myself she needs a stylist[ or fire the one she has and re employ] and is their help for me..... I will keep looking and well.... just wondering.

I don't like her jacket but the rest is quite nice ;)

Not my cup of tea, but I think she looks okay here.

Much much better in my opinion. I like the belt!

It doesn't bug me if she wears stuff like this casually. I hope she'll show at her best at official gatherings.

I think her outfit fits in with the style of the photoshoot. It's not beautiful or elegant, but it works for the photos.

I like the casual outfit. The belt and jacket are very nice.

I think Maxima looked really nice in the casual outfit in Argentina. And it seemed to fit her well. The previous outfit was atrocious. Another posted commented on the fact that her feet didn't seem to fit her shoes (the green ones). They looked like they were about 2 sizes too small. I really disliked her matching her hosiery to her dress. The colors were very unflattering, the fit of the dress was off, and the chunky necklace was just not attractive. And of course the shoes were hideous, besides the fact they didn't fit. A definite miss that day.

Maxima looks very casual, but stylish for an informal photo shoot. She looks good.

Awful, absolutely. Sometimes I wonder where does she find these 'beauties'.

I had the same thought when I saw these pictures. I just don't like the shoes. Maxima seems to be wearing a lot of brown/bronze/orange lately, which washes her out. I like Maxima's personality and would love to see her in bright colors.

I like Maxima when I see her whether I like what she is wearing or not I feel like I am seeing her style and that she is being herself.
