I wonder whether this wedding will happen.
Besides: I read elswhere, that Natacha participated in some Marathon a few years ago and that she is born in November or December 1987.

As the religious Wedding is scheduled for 30.09. and it will still take place then despite the death of his grandmother, they are probably already civil married.

Is the wedding still happening? In my honest opinion, it’s weird and disrespectful to not postpone it. It’s not like money would be an issue. Maybe because in my culture if it’s immediate family, you postpone for one year after a death of an immediate family. And the whole superstition back luck part.

I wonder if Point de Vue and other royal media/watchers and the usual photographers know that the wedding is now in Belgium and not in Montreux. If not, there’s no arrival and departure pics.

Postponing for a year is not something I am familiar with (and seems excessive). Cultures differ, I suppose. It's his grandmother who reached a high age, so something to be expected and while I am sure they will mourn her loss, it is part of life.

Prince Friso and Princess Mabel didn't postpone their wedding (which was scheduled 5 weeks after queen Juliana's death) but made some changes.

Archiduke Christian who loved his Mother , cannot marry his Son one week later in the same Church. Well done .

HGD Stephanie of Belgium's mother Comtesse Alix de Lannoy died less than eight weeks before Stephanie's wedding to Guillaume in Oct 2012.

It definitely cast a pall over things but the wedding was not postponed. It was a magnificent affair.

The Wedding is listed as taking place here

Perhaps it was the wish of the Archduchess that it should go one as planned
I remember that was the case when the lat Countess of Paris died jut a few weeks before the Wedding of Duchess Fleur of Württemberg

I doin't know why they cancelled Montreux to Beloeil knowing that Archduchess Yolande was so frail ? Le us see pictures to day .

The bride!
The deep plunging neckline is an optical illusion...IS NOT THERE!

Also: Congratulations!

Prince Louis, the lady next to him is identified as Scarlett-Lauren, but that's not her...right!? I can't be that blind.

No that’s definitely not Scarlett Lauren.

I may be in the minority but I quite like the bride’s dress and how she is styled. They look incredibly happy. Hopefully more photos come out soon.

The bride's hair is styled beautifully, and I love her tiara and veil.

No comment on the dress.

According to PPE, the woman next to Louis is his maternal cousin Katharina (daughter of Maria Teresa's sister Catalina). Not sure if they identified her correctly of course.

While I don't like the fake plunging neckline, I do like the overall 'feel' of her bridal look.

If I am not mistaken Alexander is the second of his siblings to marry in Belgium. His eldest sister Marie Christine married in Mechelen (to a Belgian count). Alexander's bride is also half-Belgian. The other siblings married respectively in the United States, France and Austria.

Which tiara ?
Yes you are right Archduchess Marie Christine married in 2008 Rodolphe Count of Limbourg Stirum in Mechelen. It was an impérial Wedding and not a low key as this one.

I think that Kathleen wore the Luxembourg Small Floral Tiara
She didn't wear a tiara. Instead she wore a pearl headband with the antique lace veil.

No she wore sort of a pearl bandeau (probably a choker or bracelet). it was Adelaide who wore the small floral diamond tiara.

Where is Marie Christine, where are the Liechtensteins?

No, Kathleen wore a pearl circlet.

Given the bride's family claim that they are of an established comital line, I would think they'd have their own tiara, like HGD Stephanie's family the Lannoy of Belgium.:whistling:

Many noble families don't own an heirloom tiara and I think that you'd struggle to find many descendants of those who fled the Russian revolution still being in possession of their ancestors jewelry.

It should have been a glittering Wedding in a church in Montreux and a gala event near the lake. Why did they cancel it ??

I was confused about the picture of Felix and Claire. This lady doesn't look like Claire at all. Somewhere I read that the lady in the pink dress is his cousin Marie Gabriella.
Looks like that Claire wasn't present at the wedding.

Yes, the lady pictured with Prince Felix is his first cousin Princess Marie-Gabrielle of Nassau, Prince Jean's daughter.
Claire isn't in any of the pictures I've seen so far, so she most likely didn't attend

Because of the death of the groom's grandmother only a couple of weeks ago?

No, the venue had been changed for months, after a vindicative campaign against the bride had begun on Internet.
