And as Elizabeth watches her mother rebuild the chest, I hope she will have a role in adding to and preserving the collection in time.

I think they should try to buy back Queen Elisabeth's diamond tiara. I am sure Cartier would be open to a reasonable arrangement, especially considering the tiara is now a museum piece basically.

Queen Fabiola did have a majestic collection and did leave some of her jewels to Queen Mathilde thankfully.

Going forward I'm hoping that the jewel collection will not be depleted and preserved for future generations.

And I have sure, that sadly, some of Fabiola jewels, like the Spanish Aquamarine Tiara, were secretly sold or located in a top secret vault

Clever use of the brooch in lieu of a tiara,others could could learn a thing or two on jewelry imagination.
 
Good to see that Mathilde becomes creative in her use of her Jewels and i think the bow brooch works better in the hair then the waterfall brooch she used in Greece.
 
Creative and lovely placement! Make me want to see Elisabeth wearing it on a thick low ponytail or a half updo, a more youthful look.

I disagree, I thought the coronation was a grand enough event to justify the choker.

The brooch was lovely, but the dress just highlighted that whilst large in size, the diamonds in the brooch are not particularly large.

At the coronation she wore exactly the same jewelry worn at the State Funeral of EII. The choker was also used at the Thanksgiving Service for The Prince Philip. I think it’s a bit too lazy to wear three times the same things at the same Abbey within 2 years.

The Nine Province tiara and the Wolfers necklace were always worn by Queen Fabiola for State Visits. I don't like the Queen earrings .
 
Is this the first State Visit Queen Mathilde has worn the Nine Provinces Tiara with the Wolfers necklace?
