I always try to keep in mind their purpose at these church visits. They are spending the day with their grandmother (and GM in law). And are not supposed to overstep their place as they are with others that are supposed to be in the limelight.

I think they almost always succeed in doing this. They have different taste and also let that show through - which I also appreciate. I love Zara's quirk and I really like Autumn's taste for the military and classics. :flowers:
 
Isn't it funny how their personal style is so very different yet perfectly matches their individual personalities.
 
This is Zara's best look in ages!! She looks perfectly in style.
I don't care for Autumn's look. She looks like she tries but never really gets it right. Imho.
 
Another winning look for Zara! Her makeup and are spot on...
 
I like both of their looks especially Autumn's. Well, this kind of explains why they weren't at the wedding today.

I think they are both just fine for the event. Both were flattering. Autumn's was a bit understated, as is her style in general. Pretty hair day for her!

Wanted to stop by and say what a fabulous outfit Autumn wore today!
I loved the color and the hat. Not quite sold on the neckline, but she made it work unlike the countess of Wessex who wore the same neckline.

The dress is by Claire Mischevani. Both Zara and Beatrice have worn the designer in the past.

Strangely, the hat doesn't match or compliment anything.
 
So far among the royal ladies, Zara has got my favourite hat!!!
 
All these colours look lovely on her but in that dress she looks like a rather charming sofa.

I wish she'd wear a broad brimmed hat because she looks stunning in that style.
 
I really cannot see anything wrong with this outfit !
 
If sophie looked like wrapping paper Zara looks like curtains to me.

I find hers the worst so called hat in the bunch. Looks horrid perched on her head.
 
Zara is another like Sophie, she has her own distinct edgy style. Because we don't see her at every family get-together the evolution of her style could be missed but, IMHO she looked great. And I adore her hat just as I have since she started attending,

Royal Ascot is the only time when we see the BRF 'in the wild' so to speak, we see them interacting in totally different ways, Mike's ongoing ribbing of both William and Harry for example. But it's Charles and Zara's 'Ascot thing' that makes me laugh the most.

I think Zara has a great combination of hat and dress here. I don’t think the print or length of the dress is a particularly flattering style for her but the colours are lovely.
 
Zara looked great yesterday ate Ascot - the floral dress was fab and I loved the colour of her hat
 
Ascot Day one was my favorite in a long time. I loved the little roll bun! The dress was perfect on her, the hat was great. Her attitude is beautiful, IMO.
 
Autumns dress is beautiful! I wish I owned it.

Zara’s colour choice is great but the style again is just wrong. It’s way too boxy for her shape.

Zara the color is great but ugh it looks like she is wearing her daughters dress. The ruffle neck and the ruffle bib :ohmy: reminds me of the baby doll dresses my mother put us in during 80s
