My guesses on the Charles & Camilla's visit to France on Wednesday:

Camilla: Boucheron Greville Honeycomb, Vladimir Tiara or Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik

I'm still not convinced that the banquet at Versailles will be a tiara affair. So let's keep our fingers crossed that we'll see a tiara at all. And if it is, I guess Camilla will wear either the honeycomb or the Greville, and leave the introduction of another new to her tiara to an event at at home, like an incoming State Visit, or the diplomatic reception.

The Greville and the honeycomb are the same. I hope that Camilla will not ditch a tiara altogether if the Banquet is only black tie. Would fit in all that modernization.

My guesses for Prince Christian's 18th birthday gala:

Queen Margrethe II: Diamond Aigrette tiara
Crown Princess Mary: Diamond and Ruby Necklace tiara
Princess Marie: Wedding tiara

I will post my guesses again when the foreign royals are confirmed.

I don't think Prince Christian's 18th birthday dinner will be a tiara event, but I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Let’s hope we will see a tiara on Versailles next week

However judging that Camilla did not wear a tiara to the last CHOGM-dinner, i fear that she takes a different approach to black tie dinners than her late mother in law did

Obviously:lol:! I thought about the sapphire and the Greville, but didn't focus properly on what I was writing.

If the dress code is black tie, I think we can expect a tiara. But they used to have suit and short dresses as a dress code for some time. I still remember the disappointment, when we saw Queen Silvia tiara-less at a French State Banquet.

Did you mean the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik?

I think the Indian circlet ruby tiara would be perfect for the visit to France

The "business suit/cocktail dress" dress code was ditched by Madame Macron. It's now "business/Black tie /long dress" for quite some time.

That would be my preference. But I would gladly settle for the Grand Duchess Vladimir tiara as well!

Besides the UK state visit to France, and the Spanish state visit to Danmark, what other tiara events do we have on the horizon?

The French state visit to Sweden in October

Thanks. I'm not so sure we will se Tiaras in Versailles (which goes to show what a horrible age this is!) But we will definitely see some major bling bling in October then. It would be the occasion for Camilla to wear the Vladimir tiara!

In November there will be the State Opening of Parliament. Let's hope it will be back to the old Dress Code. And usually in October there should be the annual Gala Dinner for the Storing in Norway.

There has obviously been some speculation as to whether the state banquet at Versailles would include tiaras or not. That speculation can only go so far, as we really do not know.

However, indpeendet of that, I am hoping we get to see some new to her brooches on Queen Camilla during the state visit. Perhaps something historic, something substantial. I would love to see the Courtald Shell brooch, last used at Ascot, come out again. Perhaps something from the Cullinan family that did not make it to the Crown.

Yesterday we saw a state banquet in France, in one month there will be a French state visit to Sweden. I guess we will see the jewels with French connections.

Queen Silvia - Leuchtenberg Sapphires

Crown Princess Victoria - The Cut Steel Tiara, with other pieces from the Cameo Parure.

Princess Sofia - Wedding Tiara with Emeralds with the Emerald Necklace (or wish to see her with the Napoleonic Amethyst Tiara again)

Princess Christina - Karl Johan Tiara

Would be nice to see the Cameo tiara as it also has french connection but at the Moment it is on display at an exhibition at the Royal palace so probably unlikely.

I hope Queen Silvia does wear the Cameo Tiara for the French state banquet, as she did for the Spanish visitors.

On Spain's state visit to Denmark in November, Queen Letizia must wear the Fleur de Lys tiara.

There will be a SV from South Korea to the UK in November.

It was confirmed today:

And I’m very pleased. We need some incoming UK state visits to look forward to. Hoping to see some new tiaras on the Queen, Princess of Wales and maybe even (in my dreams) the Duchess of Edinburgh.

We have still not had an official press release from BP or the FCO, but it has been widely reported in the press that there will be an incoming state visit from France in November.

Lets see if Queen Camilla is in the mood to bring out some jewellery that she hasn't previously worn.

A State Visit from France 1 month after the other recent State Visit to Paris?

I don't think this is a realistic guess but I would be delighted if Camilla wore the George IV State Diadem and Catherine wore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara for the South Korea visit.

Realistically they're probably going to wear the Greville Honeycomb and the Lover's knot.

If I'm being realistic but still optimistic, I'm going to guess the Belgian Sapphire and the Lotus Flower.

There are two state visits on October, and here's my guesses:

Dutch State Visit to South Africa: Oct. 18

Maxima: Emerald Tiara, Antique Pearl or Diamond Bandeau

French State Visit to Sweden: Oct. 24

Silvia: Sapphire Parure, Nine Prong, Ruby Tiara or Amethyst Parure
Victoria: Laurel Wreath, Baden Fringe, Cut Steel or Six Buttons
Sofia: her Palmette tiara (again!), Cut Steel Bandeau or Four Buttons
Christina: Connaught Diamond or Six Buttons

Only way you will see the Girls of Great Britain is on Camilla. That tiara has been the 'queen's tiara' for too many decades. Not going to see on Catherine until William is king.

The state diadem is for portraits and opening of parliament. Its not what you'd see Camilla wear for a state banquet. Certainly not one for a republic.

Whilst not standard practice, these statements are not true. The GGBI was worn by Princess Elizabeth for a number of years before becoming Queen. It was her favorite tiara, but not an heirloom of the crown reserved for Queens. I for one would love, and hope, it shows up on the PoW. It even has a history of skipping generations going from Queen Mary to the then Princess Elizabeth.

The State Diadem has been worn for state visits before. The Queen Mother wore it in France for a state visit once. *Correction* - the Queen Mum wore her own crown sans arches in France. The late Queen, however, used it exclusively for her coronation entrance and state openings of parliament. How Camilla will continue to use it remains to be seen.

Edit to add: now that Prince Christians birthday is confirmed white tie, I hope to see many lovely tiaras.
