Most royals are related one way or another, what I was saying is that Anna-Maria doesn't show up at events just because her father and sister were/are monarchs. She stopped being a Danish Princess 69 years ago. She attends as Queen.

Ofcourse… But it’s quite obvious this time that she is invited for being closely related as she will be the sole royal guest who lives south of Copenhagen

The wording of the statement on kungahuset.se does specify that Queen Anne-Marie is the King's first cousin without specifying how he is related to any of the other royal guests.

"Till jubileumshelgen väntas samtliga nordiska statschefer med gemåler till Stockholm. De skandinaviska tronföljarparen deltar också i firandet, liksom Kungens kusin Drottning Anne-Marie."

"All Nordic heads of state and their consorts are expected to come to Stockholm during the jubilee weekend. The Scandinavian hereditary couples will also participate in the celebrations as will the King's first cousin, Queen Anne-Marie.

Given that it seems that we can't expect other heads of state for the jubilee the obvious conclusion would be that Queen Anne-Marie's presence is based on being a close relative of the King. Hopefully this means that we'll see other cousins at the celebrations such as the Wisborgs, the Coburgs and Madeleine Kogevinas. Unfortunately, although I'd love to see her, I think that Countess Marianne is too old to attend the banquet. Maybe she could attend the Te Deum?

What are your suggestions for the tiara debut of Princess Alexia and when will it take place?

Another letdown for royal watchers after King Charles IIII’s coronation.. But, at least between the Scandinavian royals, there will be already plenty of bling.

Yes at least we will have some glitter, the Coronation was a complete damp squib. I still cannot believe there wasn't one white tie event for such a unique occasion.

The Sapphire Necklace-Tiara, Emerald Parure Tiara (might be a bit too grand), Aquamarine Parure Tiara or Queen Wilhelmina's Diamond Hair Comb.

Since we are on it...For Leonor's tiara debut I'd LOVE to see her with the Mellerio Shell Tiara. That's all I want: to see her with La Chata.

Since C-A has worn something symbolic (her mother's wedding tiara) as her first tiara, I think it would be nice if Alexia wears something symbolic to her mother as well e.g. the base of the antique pearl which is her mother's first tiara. And in future Ariane could use the base of the pearl/emerald tiara for the same reason (I think it's Maxima's first tiara after marriage besides those she has already worn before?).

I wish her wore the Laurel Wreath, Antique Pearl or the Ears of Wheat

I just found out that Margaretha, Birgitta, and Desiree will not attend the King's jubilee banquet. So I revised my guesses for the Swedish royal women:

Queen Silvia: Sapphire Parure tiara
Crown Princess Victoria: Baden Fringe tiara
Princess Madeleine: Aquamarine Kokoshnik tiara
Princess Sofia: Wedding tiara
Princess Christina: Connaught tiara

I don't expect MT attending, mainly because of her phobia of flying, but if she attending both concert and gala dinner, I guess the following:

Maria-Teresa attending

Belgian Scroll or Chaumet Pearl and Emerald (at concert)

Empire Tiara, Belgian Scroll or Chaumet Emerald Tiara (at gala dinner)

But if Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie attends:

Sapphire Necklace Tiara, Aquamarine Bandeau, Pearl and Citrine Bandeau, her wedding tiara (borrowed from her family), Butterfly Diamond Tiara or Amethyst Bandeau tiara (at concert)

Adelaide's Sapphire Tiara or Chaumet Pearl and Emerald Tiara (at gala dinner)

Isn’t it almost the whole collection? Not hard to lose the game in this case.

Anyway, I doubt MT will wear the Empire with her short hair (no hair extensions for her 100%). If Stephanie goes, I expect the Adelaide’s Sapphire tiara.

If Queen Camilla will wear a tiara for the SV to France this month, I predict she will wear the Greville Honeycomb tiara.

I wish her wore the Delhi Durbar or any tiara of Queen Elizabeth II

My guess to the Carl XVI Gustaf's Golden Jubilee on Friday:

Silvia: Braganza or Leuchtenberg Sapphires + pink topaz demi-parure, emerald demi-parure or the Egyptian Necklace inherited from Princess Lilian
Victoria: Laurel Wreath, Cut Steel, Six Button or Connaught Tiara + her multigem necklace or the Processional Necklace
Sofia: her palmette tiara, Four Button, Six Button or Napoleonic Amethyst
Madeleine: Modern Fringe, Connaught or Aquamarine Kokoshnik
Christina: Connaught or Six Button
Margrethe: Emerald Parure, Pearl Poiré or Floral Aigrette
Mary: Ruby Parure or Ruby, and Spinel Necklace
Anne-Marie: Ruby Olive Wreath, Khedive or Emerald Parure
Sonja: Emerald Parure or Empress Josephine Diamond Tiara
Mette-Marit: Queen Maud Diamond, Diamond Daisy Bandeau, Amethyst Parure or Vifte Tiara

Hoping that Queen Camilla takes the Queen Alexandra Kokoshnik to Paris. Second choice would be the Flames of Love Turquiose Tiara with her own demi parure of the same stones.

Both those choices would be lovely. But I will be just as happy to see a debut of either the GDVladimir with Pearls or the Oriental Circlet with the Crown Ruby demi-parure.

There will be a SV from France to Sweden in October. Queen Silvia will possibly wear the Cameo tiara because she wore that tiara during state visits to/from France in 1980 and 2000.

It occurred to me the other day that with a little thought each of the Bernadotte Queens, except Q Louise could be represented at the Gala

Crown Princess Mary in Queen Desiree's Ruby Parure
Queen Sonja in in Josephine's Diamond Tiara
Queen Margrethe in Queen Louise's Pearl Poire
Queen Silvia in Queen Sophia's Nine Prong Tiara
Crown Princess Victoria in Queen Victoria's Baden Fringe Tiara
Princess Madeline in Queen Silvia's Modern Fringe Tiara

Also
Anne-Marie in Crown Princess Margaret's Khedive Tiara
Christina in Princess Sibylla's Aquamarine Kokoshnik

The only queen not represented would be the most recent Queen Louise unless Desiree feels like loaning her diamond tiara to one of the women attending

Now that would be fun!

I really hope we see Princess Sofia wearing a different tiara for the King's Golden Jubilee Gala.

For the Jubilee gala, it would be great to see the Queen inthe Braganza tiara, with either the emerald or the pink topaz demi-parure.

I think the Kings jubilee might be a good time for Victoria to "upgrade" her jewellery. I am thinking either the Queen Sophia tiara (the Pronger), or perhaps the pink topaz demi-parure, if Queen Silvia does not wear it herself. That said, there is a reasonable chance we will see Victoria wear the corsage diamond necklace she inherited from Princess Lillian.

Although unlikely, I’d love to see Queen Silvia debut a new tiara at the jubilee celebrations

The only ones she haven’t worn so far that may be available to her is the 4-Button Tiara and the Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara (wich is still formally owned by her sister in law) so i do not expect any more new tiaras for our lovely Queen :)

When I said new, I meant a new one especially made for the occasion

In October, Prince Christian turns 18, and will held a Gala Dinner at Christiansborg Palace. I'm guessing only the Nordic and Greek royals so far, if foreign royals will be invited, i'll be coming back to complete the list!

Margrethe: Emerald Parure or Pearl Poiré
Mary: Ruby Parure
Marie: Dagmar Floral or Nuits Clares
Countess Alexandra: Queen Alexandrine's Diamond Drop
Benedikte: SWB Fringe
Carina: her diamond tiara
Alexandra: her mother's floral tiara
Nathalie: Queen Sophia's Pearl and Star
Anne-Marie: Emerald Parure, Ruby Olive Wreath or Khedive
Marie-Chantal: her fringe tiara or Queen Frederika's Diamond Tiara
Alexia: her diamond Tiara or Khedive
Tatiana: Antique Corsage or another one
Theodora: Antique Corsage, her sister's diamond tiara or Turquoise Bandeau Tiara (loaned by her auntie Daisy)
Nina: Antique Corsage
Maria-Olympia: her fringe tiara
Silvia: Nine Prong, Connaught or Napoleonic Amethysts plus the Scarab necklace inherited from Princess Lilian
Victoria: Baden Fringe, Connaught, Cut Steel or Laurel Wreath
Sonja: Emerald Parure, Diamond Tiara or the replic of the Queen Maud Pearl and Diamond on its full version
Mette-Marit: Queen Maud Diamond Tiara or the replic of the Queen Maud Pearl and Diamond on its smaller version
Ingrid-Alexandra: the Boucheron Pearl and Diamond Circle

And I guess Countess Sussie wearing the Queen Alexandrine's Fringe Tiara

For the White Tie Jubilée Banquet at the Royal Palace in Stockholm tonight, i make a final guess (and will probably get it all wrong as usual, hahah)

Queen Silvia : Braganza Parure or the Leuchtenberg Sapphires (the standard first lady jewels in the swedish court for the absolutely grandest occassions)

Crown Princess Victoria : Baden Fringe Tiara and the Pink Topazes (a combination Queen Louise wore frequently and later also Princess Christina)

Princess Sofia : Amethyst Parure (time to wear it again !)

Princess Madeleine : Connaught Diamond Tiara and the Bernadotte Emeralds (Her grandmother Princess Sibyllas usual jewel pairing)

Princess Christina Mrs Magnuson : Nine Prong Tiara (wich she haven’t worn since the 1970:s) and the Processional Necklace

Queen Margrethe : Pearl Poire Parure

Crown Princess Mary : Queen Desirée’s Rubies

Queen Anne-Marie : Greek Emerald Parure

Queen Sonja : Empress Josephine’s Emeralds

Victoria didn't inherit Josephine's Diamond Stomacher Necklace from princess Lilian. Princess Lilian didn't own it, although it was one of her favourites.

My guesses for Prince Christian's 18th birthday gala:

Queen Margrethe II: Diamond Aigrette tiara
Crown Princess Mary: Diamond and Ruby Necklace tiara
Princess Marie: Wedding tiara

I will post my guesses again when the foreign royals are confirmed.
