Thats a great coat, hope she uses it a few times this winter.

Lovely, perfectly judged outfit. Respectful of the week of remembrance but not too formal or ‘stuffy’ for an event involving children.
 
Really lovely outfit and perfect for November outdoors.
 
It's a lovely combination, really perfect for the engagement and the season.
 
Really love the brimmed hat with that hairstyle. Not a fans of the coat as these stripes (?) look like claws.
 
I like the coat, she so often opts for a military adjacent coat on these occasions (understandably) that it's nice to see her go for something different. The hat looks great as well.
 
I love the hat and the coat, the earrings do seem little disproportional, though. The hair is lovely as well, the photos showing it from the back are very nice.

Yes, that coat is a winner. Also goes back to the 1950s and 60s with extreme fitting through body and then some also A-lined out slightly to below knees. Very feminine and upscale. This type of coat always had slight tucking above the waist at some point to take away the very plain look. Classic.

I really liked the coat. It is quintessentially Catherine's style. However, the hat is a complete flop as it was too dark, the brim too wide, and the squared-off crown all got together and it made it look dark and shady underneath, almost as if she was walking around with her very own thundercloud. Her earrings had a jarring look and are more suited to evening wear.

I liked the coat and hat, but those earrings were a bit too much (especially the upper part - the pearl was fine).

I couldn't agree more!
The coat was elegant, the hat did not complement it at all.

(She has the Tiffany hat by Locke & Co. that would have worked better, imo.)

While I'm glad that she doesn't choose a monochrome outfit with this coat again, I don't think the polkadots look good with it.

Not apparent on my screen, but I understand the dress is blue, with yellow polka dots, in support of Ukraine.

That wasn’t apparent on my screen either. Just the blue shoes and purse.
