I remeber coming across by accident on the web in the late 1990s the same bizarre linking of the Prince's Welsh Dragon & his name to the number of the Antichrist. Then it was being put about by an American who was quite obviously of a white racist persuasion and was particularly agitated by the Prince's pro-UN and pro-ethnic-minority views.

I wonder if Robert Plant was one of those anti-establishment rockers who thought little of the monarchy and with age has now changed his mind. . . ?:rolleyes:

Apparently they have. :flowers:

The museum, last visited by the Prince in 2003 to mark its 125th anniversary, made a request to Clarence House for the loan earlier this year, but staff were unsure if the bid would be successful.
They were therefore “surprised and delighted” to learn they would soon have the pieces – which depict everything from the arid beauty of the Moroccan desert and the snowcapped peaks of Switzerland’s Tinzenhorn to the majesty of Balmoral – hanging on their walls

Prince Charles risked public anger yesterday by entertaining disgraced banker Sir Fred Goodwin at Clarence House.
The invitation was to mark the end of the former Royal Bank of Scotland chief's six-year tenure as chairman of Charles's charity, the Prince's Trust.
Afterwards the heir to the throne thanked Sir Fred, who led RBS into the worst financial crisis of its history, for all his 'hard work and support' for the youth charity

Goodwin did do a great deal for the charity, no matter what harm he may have caused at RBS or how greedy he appears for helping himself to such a large payout. If Charles had refused to thank him for the work he did, he would be called ungrateful or worse - politically motivated! :rolleyes:

CHARLES JOINS BATTLE TO LET POLICE BACK OUR SOLDIERS

PRINCE Charles stepped into a row yesterday over a police ban on officers wearing badges to support British troops in Afghanistan.
The heir to the throne helped to launch a new pin he hopes all Britain’s 140,000 police officers will wear to raise money for an Armed Forces charity Help for Heroes.

It comes despite complaints that such symbols might be offensive to anti-war activists and Muslims.

Since when showing support for your troops may be viewed as 'offensive'?! :nonono: :ermm:
One may agree or disagree with the missions they are sent for - that's a matter of personal opinion. However, every single man and woman who risk their lives out there, deserve only highest respect and admiration.
Wearing support badges may not be much, however it still shows that thousands of people appreciate and respect them.
