Wonderful to see Prince Albert II and the Princess of Hanover at the Monaco International Organ Festival ,it seems its a summer of celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary!
 
Those are such lovely photos of the family - relaxed and obviously enjoying memories of Rainier who by all accounts was a doting father and grandfather.
 
To honour Prince Rainier the Lycée Technique et Hôtelier (technical and hotel school) away renamed into Lycée Rainier III. today, July 1.
During the ceremony a bust of Prince Rainier III was unveiled in the main hall.

What it's truly amazing, more than all the work he's done for his country, is the memory P. Rainier left on his children and grandchildren. Eighteen years after his death, his memory remains so present not only in his children, but in his grandchildren, some of them being so young when he died... More than castles, buildings or money, that's the true greatness and legacy of a man, the true legacy of a prince... :crown4::crown4: :crown4:
 
With all the events surrounding the 100 th anniversary of Rainier’s birth, does anyone know if there has been a special book or magazine published in commemoration?
 
Its wonderful to see the ongoing celebrations to mark the Centenary of the birth of the late Rainier III.
The next one will be in 2029 which marks the Centenary of the birth of the late Princess Grace/Grace Kelly.

I wonder if this might be when Albert announces plans to have a permanent museum dedicated to his mother. There was talk of it many years ago, about the time when the inaugural exhibition about Grace was at the Grimaldi centre. It proved to be so popular and various versions of the original exhibition were mounted in many cities across the world.
 
As part of this year's commemorations of the centenary of the birth of Prince Rainier a tribute ceremony to Prince Rainier was held at the National Council in Monaco today, September 8.

Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Princess Caroline, Princess Stephanie, Andrea, Charlotte, Louis and Camille attended.

Today, November 7, Prince Albert, Princess Caroline, Princess Stephanie and Camille attended the opening of the exhibition "The prince's vision. Jacques Rueff, Minister of State for Rainier III, 1949-1950":

Princess Stephanie held a meeting with the press today prior to tomorrow's opening of the exhibition "The Prince at the Heart of the Circus" dedicated to Prince Rainier and his love for the circus:

Yesterday, November 24, Prince Albert, Princess Stéphanie, Mélanie, Louis and Marie attended the play "Les Jours Heureux" (The happy days).

"As part of the Centenary of Prince Rainier III, the Commemoration Committee asked the Studio de Monaco to stage this play in which the young Prince Rainier played the role of Bernard during his studies in Montpellier":

Today, November 25, Prince Albert and Princess Stéphanie inaugurated the "Avenue Rainier III in Monaco" in Peille, France:

Looks like a cool party but that image of Prince Rainier III on the back is giving me AI art Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit. I would have changed it for an actual photo image.

Yesterday, January 27, Prince Albert attended the "Tenebrae Choir", a concert accompanied by the Children's Choir of the Rainier III Academy, held at the Cathedral. As candles for Prince Rainier were lit, I think it was held in connection with the centenary:
